Dr. Richard Keith Howell, DO

Excellent physician!

Dr. Howell was available when no one else was & how lucky was I to have found someone to listen beyond comparison. He was kind & thoughtful & pulled me through the unthinkable. He's amazing.

I have never met a more caring and compassionate Psychiatrist then Dr. Howell. He not only is extremely accurate in his mental health diagnoses, but he also has the tools to help you deal with them and to grow and heal and become the whole person you were meant to be. In addition, his office staff is the best: making you feel welcomed, never judged, and always providing a supportive enviroment which is so helpful especially to people who might feel shame around mental health issues. Dr. Howell's, office is warm and inviting and comfortable and the waiting room as well, with a non medical look about it. I would recommend this doctor to everyone, only he is not currently taking new patients. I am very blessed to have found him and to have gotten in when he was still accepting new patients.

I have been seeing Dr. Howell for almost 10 years now and I have gone through alot of issues in that time. He has helped me to cope and to get through. He monitors my medications regularly and has helped me to find the right "cocktail" to ease the problems that I have with my Bipolar disorder. I have recommended Dr. Howell to many people - some of which now see him. I appreciate all that he has done for me and I will continue to see him for another 10 years if need be.

I liked Dr. Howell from the first time I met him. He is so caring and compassionate and also throughly knowledgeable. The very first visit he said to me,"I am so sorry you have had to suffer for so long." He is also very spiritual and loving and he has helped me with so many things; everything from depression to weight loss. I don't know what I would do without him.
