HAD THE WORST!! EXPERIENCE WITH A WOMAN BY THE NAME OF GLORIA THAT WORKS THERE! SHE WAS NASTY & RUDE ON THE PHONE WITH ME ! I ENDED UP WITH A DIFFERENT DOCTOR.

Dr Iammatteo has been my doc for several years. I am a Nurse Practitioner and am familiar with many docs in area. Dr. Iammatteo diagnosed a very dangerous cardiac disorder that I had and referred me to interventional cardiologist for internal defibrillator bc I was at risk for sudden cardiac death with LQTS. He also diagnosed my Congestive Heart Failure and found an excellent cardiologist to be followed by. He saved my life because without treatment, this can be fatal. My adult children also see Dr I and he diagnosed one of my children with Hashimoto's thyroiditis that had been missed by other docs and made the appropriate endocrinology referral. He has fabulous diagnostic skills and is able to really diagnose abnormal heart and lung sounds upon exam. He gives sound, practical medical advise and is a caring, kind physician. After he examines you thoroughly, he brings you into his office and takes the time to discuss his findings. As a NP, I can recommend this physician without… reservation.

THE CURRENT LOCATION AT 18 JACKSON AVE SYOSSET IS ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS...THE DOCTOR IS AMAZING..CARING KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING THOROUGH.......THE STAFF WAS FRIENDLY AND COURTEOUS..I WOULD SAY HE IS A GOOD CHOICE FOR INTERNAL MEDICINE..

Dr Iammatteo is a physician who is caring and who actually listens to you. He is an excellent diagnostician, which I attribute it to his vast experience as a practicing physician for 14 years. Dr Iammatteo was the prior director of preoperative services at the Long Island Jewish Medical Center/North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, where he contributed his medical opinions to surgeons and anesthesiologists, regarding patients going to surgery. I have been suffering from pulmonary issues for years and I am alive today because Dr Iammatteo diagnosed me with a chronic lung disease called sarcoidosis. Dr Iammatteo sent me to the top physician in that field, Dr Padiila, out of Mt. Sinai, who had written the text book on sarcoidosis. Dr Iammatteo is a wonderful physician, who takes his time with all patients and sends you if need, to the top physicians in there respected fields!
