My daughter was sent back to this so call “infectious disease surgeon” for a second look at severe Gastro distress. She is not obese ( could lose 10 pounds) as she is in his office his nurse sees her physically go from normal to the size of a full blown pregnant lady fixing to deliver. She was so astonished and ran for the Dr. he walks in and asks her why she is there! Proceeds to tell her she is fat, she has gas and to get over herself he has patients that are much worse off!!! She proceeds to not cry as he looks at a cat scan taken over 9 months ago and tells her she’s healthy and to stop thinking about it. As this happens her side takes her to her knees, she loses all color and he says she is acting hysterical and she is not going to die! We are seeing another doctor that has compassion for his patients and isn’t hard of hearing. She tried to speak and he just talked (loudly) over her. She came home took a pain pill and cried herself to sleep! Beware, this doctor is not… compassionate, seems to have a chip on his shoulder and really doesn’t care about the physical or mental well being of his patients. You’ve been forewarned! See Dr Benak-same office as he does have a beating heart of compassion.
