Dr. Richard Anthony Johnson, MD

Dr. Johnson is on the surface intelligent and helpful, I'm a young healthy adult male. However. when my body began to break down, he was very insensitive to my situation. I was in intense pain because of a back issue, and he so much as said all back pain was eventually mental. I finally went to a Disc Specialist, I had a full herniated disc with a nerve pinch. I'm now on disability trying to heal. After months I still cannot sit down without pain. Dr. Johnson had an opinion about what was wrong with me, and the severity without even really asking me what was going on. My experience with Dr. Johnson was absolutely terrible.

First of all, Dr. Johnson is much more than what you presented him as. He is a complete internist, and a Clinical Professor of Family Medicine at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He is the Director of the Pacific Palisades Medical Group, and he also has a degree or at least was a major in Physics before becoming a physician. He is extremely astute, an outstanding diagnostic doctor, who comes to the right decisions and is able to patiently and completely explain to you how and why things medically work the way they do. And he practices what he preaches!!
