Dr. Richard John Kenney, DO

This review is more about the office and its less than satisfactory operation. They have caused me to drop Dr. Kenney as my gastroenterologist. Recently, it took them two weeks to get my prescription filled. Now they are going through weeks of training and have to reschedule appointments. They called and left a message for me to call back and reschedule. So, I called, left a message, but after four days no one called back. So, I called again and left a curt message. Received a call today and was told my appointment, which was scheduled for 28 November, is now scheduled for 31March, 2024. What a sham! When I told the secretary that another doctor had referred me for a procedure, she didn't much care. I told her to forget it, that I will terminate my relationship with this office and seek another gastroenterologist whose staff is competent, considerate, and understands that patients who were scheduled within two weeks should be rescheduled among the first for the earliest appointments.… Absolutely ridiculous office practices! One additional concern. When I was scheduled to see Dr. Kenney for past visits, most times it was a PA who saw me. I witnessed other patients complain when informed that Dr. Kenney wasn't available for the appointment. "Sorry" was the office response. As I said, time to move away from this confused practice.

I would have to say he is one of the most patient and compassionate doctors/specialists that I have ever had to visit. Have recommended him to several friends and family.
