The worse doctor you could ever see. Highly recommend rescheduling with someone else if you get him. If you answer more than yes or no he will be annoyed and I am sure he has his mind made up before you even start talking with him. If I could give negative stars I would.

Had a telehealth mental health appointment scheduled (120 minutes). I had to contact the VA to get the link sent to me which made me around 5-7 mins late for the appointment. There appeared to be some issue connecting us and Dr Krusen blamed my internet connection even though I verified my internet was working on my end. After 5 minutes of reloading the page I offered to use another device to have the appointment. Apparently, that wasn't good enough and that since my connection was "bad" I needed to reschedule for another time. At most 15 minutes had gone by since the designated start time of a 2 hour meeting before he looked for a way out. I asked for a different provider and let the VA know the unprofessionalism I received.

Literally the worse. Like stated by every other person that commented on this guy’s behavior. He is not here to help veterans at all what so ever. How can you have some one with no compassion what so ever towards veteran determine if they need help or not. He doesn’t even let you Finish answering the questions that he ask. The appointment is suppose to be 120 or more minutes but instead it was literally like 15 mins. I thought you were suppose to be evaluating us veterans situations and understand why we truly feel like we have ptsd instead of just rushing us through these sessions so you can go on about your day. If you not going to have our best interest at heart then find another job and let somebody do it that truly cares.

Had a Mental Health exam with him for the VA and it was awful. He was ill prepared and rude and just wanted the session to end quickly. What should’ve been 105 minute session only lasted 20 minutes. When I would go into detail about my situation, he would show his annoyance and was rude. If you get him for a C&P exam, I highly recommend rescheduling with a different provider.

If your going for your DBQ PSYCH PTSD review ask to be rescheduled to another place. My husband was Medical retired for PTSD. We wanted to get re rated and was sent to Richard Krusen. He did not list the right medication I was taking. Listed that i'm not seeking any other treatment but I'm seeing a VA Psych. His notes are short and doesn't list everything he asked you. He gets paid 1200 for each Veteran he sees. His not there for the Veterans his there to get paid. STAY AWAY

Extremely unethical, very one sided testimony based on 1/2 stories. Offers “testimony” to local attorney’s based on referrals. Be ware, couldn’t deal with a worse provider.

I thought I was going to see him to review my PTSD. And I was told by the VA my ED claim came back as not service connected. Now I'm going to see the same doc for my PTSD. This should go over like a lead balloon. How does a doc make a decision about something in a feild he doesn't even practice in.

Got a C&P exam for the VA. Did not check my C-FILE or VA files for ingoing treatments at the VA for some issues. Said that I "Denied" being treated by any one!!! My records shows that I been treated for many years up to the present! Easy money paid by VA for doing nothing! Will write to several agencies and complain about it.
