Dr. Richard Herbert Lee, MD

In 2012 Dr Lee convinced me to get an iud-even though I was young and reluctant. He promised it would be fine. I had pain for a year and a half before I went to get it removed. He couldn’t get it out. Gave me septocaine and still couldn’t. He told me because I was too squirmy that he’d have to put my under ga to remove it vaginally. He did not do an ultrasound. I had a second opinion from a fertility specialist who told me Dr Lee inserted the iud into my abdomen. Had Dr Lee pulled it out vaginally, who knows what would have happened but I know it wouldn’t be good. I had to pay thousands out of pocket to have it removed from my abdomen and suffered miscarriages after as a result. He should not have a license to practice.

It was the worst experience I've ever had with a doctor in my life.

Dr Lee performed a complete hysterectomy on me when I was 25. When he later told me I had a perfectly good uterus and ovary he nervously screamed "go ducks!" and proceeded to tell me I did not need to see him anymore. He also told me hysterectomies were his "bread and butter" This man should not be practicing medicine.

I ended up in the ER after a LEEP with abnormal vaginal bleeding. The ER doctor called Dr. Lee at least 3 times before actually came down to assess me 4 hours later, then blamed the bleeding on me!! By then I had lost so much blood. He's arrogant and negligent! How he hasn't been sued and his license revoked, I do not know! He's the most awful doctor I've ever met. I would never recommend him.
