Dr. Richard Andrew Levy, MD

We waited about 20 minutes in waiting room which was almost enough time to absorb all of the clutter, nick knacks and tacky decor around us. One staff member was loud and obnoxious and did not seem to know what she was doing. I was there to assist my elderly mother with her appointment. We then waited a few minutes after being called to see the doctor. Dr. Levy was so rude to my elderly mother, it was all I could do to control myself. My mother is very forgetful and was not able to answer all of the questions on her forms. Dr Levy raised his voice a couple of volume levels and scolded my mother. He treated her very badly and acted very unprofessional. I would not recommend going back to him. While we were at the front desk waiting for our paperwork so we could leave. Dr Levy walked up to the reception area and was rude and belittled one of his staff right in front of us. He is a very impatient man with a horrible bedside manner who needs to learn better people skills. Everyone who… works for him appears to be walking on eggshells in fear of his nasty attitude. His arrogance is overwhelming as is his condescending tone. There were a couple of positive things about our visit. There was a very nice woman in the office who was very professional and seemed to be on top of things. The parking was free. Overall it was a very bad experience for both my mother and myself. The overall rating that I am submitting is 1 star. Only because there is nowhere to click on zero stars.

Dr. Levy is the BEST! I have been seeing Dr. Levy for a number of years and have always found him and the office staff highly professional. I am always greeted with a cheery 'hello' from the office staff. In the 10 plus years I have been receiving treatment from Dr. Levy, I can only recall one or two times when I was kept waiting more than 5 minutes past my scheduled appointment time and both were due to other patient emergencies at the hospital. One time I was told as I came in that The Doctor is running late today due to an emergency. Most times I am seen on-time or even early. I am a person who is always early for my appointment so maybe that is why I am seen early at times.I believe Dr. Levy has a better on-time record than any other doctor I have seen in the past 20 years. The office staff is very professional and always has a warm, cheery way about them.I have nothing but kudos for Dr. Levy and his entire staff!

Serious misdiagnoses, terrible customer billing and response, and mediocre time management in the waiting room and patient rooms trumps his affable demeanor.

the office is wide open and not hipaa compliant. there is so much talking and noise in the office with everyone yelling.
