Dr Richard B. Loomis, MD

Doctor Loomis is absolutely incredible. He goes above and beyond in his care, approach, dedication and support. He just helped us through the care of our baby with a high fever. He worked with us in multiple ways to ensure she got immediate and continuous care .His level of dedication is what every parent hopes for their children. We feel so Grateful to have our family in his care.

Kids have been seeing him and his staff for the last 10yrs. I wouldn't go anywhere else! My youngest was admitted to the hospital with pancreatitis. The night prior I had taken to the ER and he was released with a diagnosis of a virus. Dr. Loomis's nurse contacted us to follow-up on his condition later that afternoon. Given his symptoms had not cleared or become any better she said to take him to the ER. She called ahead and when we arrived they whisked us back and started caring for him. He was transported via ambulance to another hospital. We are so very thankful for the care and support we receive.

Both of my kids have gone to Dr. Loomis for about 5 years. He is always so compassionate and takes the time necessary with them. He never rushes them, and indulges them if they are curious about something (like listening to each other’s hearts). I hope we never have to change drs because he is the best I’ve ever had the privilege to know.

I take my daughter to Dr. Loomis and we LOVE him! He is the best doctor I have ever met. Sometimes there is a wait to see him but it is soooo worth it! He takes his time with his patient's and always gives an accurate diagnosis every time. The times when I took my daughter into an after hours Sutter urgent care facility the doctors would misdiagnose my daughter and i would always have to go back to see Dr. Loomis for a correct diagnosis. He is great at respecting my believes and opinions as a parent. I also love that he compliments the things that I am doing right with my daughter, parents always need positive affirmations from a trusted source. When I take my daughter in for something that I think is really bad, he has a calm manner that helps me to relax so that we can figure out what we can do to help my daughter. I would recommend this Pediatrician to any parent!
