Dr. Richard Oneal Lynch, MD

I visited this doctor only once. While he is very friendly, receptive and qualified as a doctor, his office needs some serious work. From a patient perspective I had to do a lot of the leg work to get any response from his staff at all. I'd like to lay out some process breakdowns in hopes to provide an opportunity for Dr Lynch and his office staff to improve on the experience myself and one other had. Process breakdown 1: I was asked to fill out an online form with my medical history before coming in which I did, then once I got in for my appointment, I was told the website didn't work and I had to once again fill out all of my information but this time by hand. I also had to assist my friend who decided to use the same doctor and it was the exact same thing, he spent the time to fill out the online form and once he got in, I had to fill out the information by hand for him as I act as his pseudo caretaker - so that system and process is broken. Process breakdown 2: Both my friend… and myself called multiple times to try to get updates and information about our visits. The calls always went straight to voicemail, no one ever answered the phones. We left a lot of voicemails and only received one callback around a month and a half after we stopped trying to get in touch with the office by which time we had already decided to look for a different provider. Process breakdown 3: No functioning option to pay bills. I have received three bills now, and I have attempted to pay each of them. I call the number and am met by their phone system that redirects me to an answering service, which says the billing company is unavailable. I have called multiple times and each time I have asked the answering service to please make sure the billing company calls me back - they have not to this day. Today I decided to leave Dr Lynch some voicemails to which I hope he responds so I can finally get this cleared up. To be clear, Dr Lynch himself was warm, friendly and I was comfortable during my visit that he was a qualified and competent as an MD. This review has nothing to do with his qualifications as a medical doctor in any way shape or form when assessing a patient during a visit. This review is specifically to raise flags to the processes and procedures portion of his practice which left us feeling very disconnected from our provider. I am providing one star due to the fact that as of this moment I have still not been able to pay my bill. I feel it is only fair when a person provides a one-star review to clearly outline the issues experienced in a way where corrective measures can be taken. If Dr Lynch becomes aware of this review I hope he will find the outlines above useful so that he may better shore up the process and procedures that are currently in place at his practice when it comes to patient experience outside of the exam room. I sincerely wish Dr Lynch success and believe he can easily improve on these things when he takes a closer look at them. Finally, once I am able to pay my bill I will revisit and update this review.

Excellent Physician

I have moved back home to North Carolina and I was trying to find a good doctor and I found Dr. Lynch he is good , cares about patients and spend time with them to get a better understanding.

he's a very nice doctor I would go to him anytime
