Dr. Richard Allan Martin, MD

Dr. Martian has treated 3 generations of my family. He has preformed surgery on 3 of our children (2 repeatedly) and a grandchild. I am thrilled he still will see our family for our various issues of witch he cares for. As long as he has an office and will treat us we will chose him as our doctor.

Dr. Martin is as good as they come! He was very thorough with his diagnosis. He answered any questions that I had to ease my mind. He made my very shy 4 year old feel comfortable and even gave me his cell phone number after surgery in case we had any issues over the weekend or late at night. In my opinion is a wonderful example of what every doctor should be. It is obvious is compassionate and cares about his patients. I did not experience any unease of him being pushy about his beliefs. As a Christian I found it very refreshing to have a doctor who puts God first. He knows he is only human and needs Gods love and mercy everyday, and needs Gods help threw difficult surgeries. It was apparent to me he was a Christian man, but he never forced ANY religious views at me. He simply stated that he was a Christian. I would highly recommend him to anyone!

Doctor Martin was incredibly unprofessional and offensive. First of all, he seemed to brush off my symptoms; he didn't take me seriously. If he had spent less time trying to convert me to Christianity, and more time addressing my symptoms, I might feel differently. This leads to the second issue: his audacity.He asked about my "spiritual status" and my goals more often than he asked about my ailment. The doctor's office is NOT the venue to ask about someone's "spiritual status" (which he did), or mention one's brother who shot himself (which he did), or attempt to convert a patient (which he did), or INVITE THE PATIENT OUT TO COFFEE OUTSIDE THE OFFICE (which he did).I would not go back to Dr Martin if he were the last ENT on the planet.
