Dr. Richard Bernard Mcadam, MD

Racist establishment. Told me trump is a genuis and his daughter. That alone was a red flag . Went in for a veterans exam. He didn’t even bother to read prior case notes . Just had his mind made up the moment he saw me . and for some reason him and his staff kept asking me what percentage i was at . Which is totally inappropriate

I saw Dr. McAdam for a VA Claim exam. I strongly do not recommend Dr. McAdam. I believe he has an agenda, to Not help veterans, to Not give an impartial exam, AND he also proselytized regarding his political beliefs. All of which are inappropriate. I felt he judged me. He is engaging and subtle. Be on your alert. He was condescending and blew off my concerns & legitimate symptoms. I even brought a recent low back MRI which he obviously disregarded and did not report. I had pain and deficits which he apparently did not report. He reported on rated areas that he was not asked to examine (e.g. Carpel tunnel). He did not ask me how my symptoms affected my job & life; he seemed to not listen. His exam was disorganized. In fact, he had me get on and off the examine table at least 4 times, as if to find inconsistencies, as if I were making up symptoms. I believe his agenda is to look for ways to deny claims, and not to be impartial. Be on alert for this kind of treatment & file a complaint if… right away.

On 3 Apr 18 I arrived at the office at 0920 hrs for a followup appt at 0930 for a major neck compression surgery. When I checked in there were 2 patients in the waiting room. At 1020, after watching numerous patients called back for treatment, I went to the desk to complain. I was told I would be called next . I then watched another patient called back. At 1030 I got fed up and left. Doc Mcadam is a great surgeon and I have known him for 25 years, but today's service by his staff is unacceptable.

I love Dr.McAdams he has done my bac and my neck he has the greatest bad side manner he is wonderful I would tell anyone go see him he will take good car of you.

He fixed my back pain in about 30 min. and I was back home from the hospital in about 2 hours. Great work! This was many years ago, but they didn't have cell phones to make comments on.

I began a patient relationship with Dr McAdam in 2008. At that time he operated on my C4,5&6. At that time and still today he is the leading neurosurgeon in Virginia. On a personal note; if you ask him, he will pray for you prior to your surgical procedure with him.

I have trusted with my life twice, outstanding, most caring Doctor I have only outstanding positive words that describe him

I WENT TO DR. MCADAMS 25 YEARS AGO AND NOW I AM BACK WITH ANOTHER MEDICAL ISSUE. HE IS A VERY KIND DR. WHO DID NOT RUSH YOU. HE ALSO TALK YOU THRU THE PROCEDURE, WHICH WAS VERY CONVERTING TO ME. I WILL RECOMMEND OTHERS TO DR. MCADAMS.

I have gone to this doctor twice. The first time in 2001 and saw an associate of his. I had a fusion and I was still in a lot of pain after wards but they didn't try to find out why. Then in 2006/2007 after my pain getting to wear I could not walk Dr. McAdams did several test where I was left a in the hall at hospital for hours after wards alone, they messed up drawing blood from my arm for a blood patch and I bleed all over the place, then he told me he couldn't find what was causing me the pain and I just had to learn to live with it. Another doctor from another group found the problem with one X-ray and had me in for my second Fusion. I will never go to this doctor again nor will I tell anyone ells to go to him.

He has damaged alot of people, including me. Do your homework.
