Dr. Richard Michael Miller, MD

I have shared legal custody of my children and Dr. Miller, in all of his arrogance and self-importance, lied to me and decided to over-step his boundaries and go behind my back to make a decision with my sons mother to put my son on ADHD meds, when I made it clear I wanted a second opinion. Prior to a group meeting at Dr. Millers office, where he assured me no prescriptions would be written without both parents feeling comfortable, Dr. Miller never said much more than "open wide" to my son, which promted me to hold off on perscribing meds until an expert in the field properly diagnosed my son. I guess he didnt like the fact that I questioned how he could diagnose my son with Inatentive type ADHD without a proper evaluation from him. When I found out from my son he was taking the meds when with his mother, I called Dr. Miller to ask why he perscribed the meds when I made it clear I was uncomfortable and wanted a second opinion from an expert in the field. His arrogant response was "I… decided to write the prescription anyway, because your sons mother and I felt we should put YOUR son on a trial run with ADHD meds to see what happens".....I consider his actions dangerous, reprehensible, unethical, immoral and to overstep his boundaries with my child and I strongly recommend that if your child has anything other than a cold, you bring them to a doctor that is not suffering from "god-like" tendencies. show details
