Dr. Richard Eric Mizner, MD

Dr. Mizner and his nursing staff is wonderful. Been with them for about a year and have never had issues with appointments, follow ups etc. Dr. Mizner has personally emailed us regarding our concerns and followed up with other doctors caring for our child. He is extremely knowledgeable and an expert in his area. He might come off as aloof for a Pediatrician who might be expected to sing and dance for his little patients but is most definitely friendly. Our infant has had many “conversations” with him. Would most definitely recommend him as long as you aren’t looking for a pediatrician who will skip and hop for your child (he does make funny faces for infants if that’s an important factor).

He is a good doctor but can be quite rude. Not a good quality for a pediatrician.

We have now had several visits with Dr. Mizner and have found him to be kind, skilled, welcoming, knowledgeable, funny and terrific with our son. By far our favorite pediatrician to date!

We have had positive experiences with Dr. Mizner over the past few years. The negative aspects are the office and nursing staff. The office staff members that support Dr. Mizner are extremely rude and provide horrible customer service. The nursing staff that field patient phone inquires are very inconsistent. The piece that is the most disconcerting is that the nursing staff and physicians constantly contradict each other and I find that both the doctors and nurses try to make you feel stupid for calling in questions. A first time parent should never feel that their concerns are not valid or that we are bothering the staff. Although we like Dr. Mizner we are considering changing offices because of the negative experiences with his staff.

Extremely rude. Surprised he is associated with MGH. Don't let his education influence your decision to choose him as your family pediatrician.

I woul avoid him at all costs. The rudest physician I have come across!
