I have had the privilege to treat patients here in eastern Idaho for over 12 years. I have come to regard the area and people with great fondness. I feel blessed to have had the ability to watch my children grow up here. I feel I have truly become part of the community. My patient focused style of practice has not changed since coming here to eastern Idaho. I still endeavor to treat the whole person - mind, body, and spirit. I pride myself on providing a professional, non judgmental setting to treat the whole range of psychiatric issues and disorders.

Dr. New is a great doctor with a wealth of knowledge. He is understanding and strives to help each person as an individual. He knows that what may work for one person may not work for another person. He has been a great help to me.

I felt that Dr. New spent the majority of our visits telling me how he had helped other patients rather than talking with me about my problems. I found him very arrogant and also negative toward my religion. I stopped seeing him after 3 visits that went nowhere.

I hate to give negative reviews but when it comes to wanting to make progress with your mental health honest reviews are needed. He started the appointment by pointing out all his accolades on the wall. He then asked me for a childhood background but was not concerned with my issues right now and never offered any plan or solutions to assist me. He stated his negative bias on the people of Idaho and the LDS (Mormon) community more than once. Maybe because I didn’t grow up in Idaho he felt that was appropriate, which it is not. He has a very arrogant attitude and dismissed me and my issues. I would not recommend him to anyone.

Dr.New is amazing.I've seen him for many years now he has helped me so much. I'd recommend him to any one in need of a doctor who truely cares. Dr. New listens with his heart and mind excellent combination if you ask me.

Dr. New has been a blessing in my life. He has helped me grow and mature to overcome the stumbles and bumbles that have occurred throughout my years. I honestly can't think of one thing I dislike about him. I would, and have, recommended him to many people all of who have very different troubles. He is truly a life saver!

Dr. New is an outstanding doctor who adjusts his approach and prescriptions based on the patient. He has helped me immeasurably! His office is busy and there have been waiting times of up to 15 minutes on one occasion, but I believe this is because he gives each patient the time they need.
