Excellent physician , brilliant, recognizes the problem IMMEDIATELY and is very plain spoken and direct. I appreciate this quality. Listened to my new diagnosis and took immediate action to make necessary adjustments. Great physician

He is good and also he can listen to you. Than he goes to final I found him on yellow pages. But i was soo lucky he is the best doctor on this town. I came to europe for my education still i am using his medication.

Nice guy, doesn't say much at all...I only see him for med checks...very fast appointments....no discussion about meds, really.

Dr. Owings is not consistent with his care. He rushes you through the appt. dispensing drugs often without making eye contact nor looking up from his computer. He asks questions without paying attention to your answers. I found someone else.

Dr. Owings has always taken time to listen to how I'm feeling and working with me to find what meds work and what meds don't work. He has ALWAYS been nothing but professional with me. He is mild mannered, quiet, and shows genuine concern about how his patients feel, how they're doing. If I am having tough times, he tells me to come back in 2 weeks unless I need him before that. If I seem to be doing well on whatever changes we made, then I come back in 6 months as always. I would recommend Dr. Owings to all my family, friends, and anyone who mentioned they were looking for a Doctor. To me, he's the greatest!

Most visits with Dr. Owings last 5-7 minutes. He still has my named mispelled on formal records. Should he honestly misunderstand what you have communicated he will refuse to admit his fault or simple miscommunication; rather, opting to blame electronic medical data systems for his inability to remove grossly incorrect information he recorded. After months of slow walk down on the Rx's he doped me on I am now feeling better than I ever did under his care.

This Doctor did not listen to me, turned anxiety and depression in to a slew of Rx drugs - Worst he recorded I related I was thrown in jail, when I was simply describing a very long stop for Careless Driving. He refuses to remove this blatant falsehood / miscommunication from my records - he will not even speak to me.

I had a really good experience with Dr. Owings. He is very direct and willing to advance treatment until I felt improvement. I have had depression and anxiety for years, neither of which were treated with medication by my last doctor. Dr. Owings quick got me on a regimen that got back on my feet within a few weeks. We have adjusted my meds as need and I feel better than I have in years.

Dr. Owings is very intelligent and I do believe he generally cares about his patients. He is a bit awkward, but never gives up on you...
