This doctor goes the extra mile to make sure that he has investigated all my symptoms. I have been going to him for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. He is extremely intelligent and has helped to overcome a difficult diagnosis. I find he is well worth seeing.

A refreshing change from doctors that I've seen in the past. He listens, is extremely thorough, and makes recommendations. I've been a patient of his for over 20 years. My husband just started seeing Dr Palken and was amazed at how thorough he is. Extremely happy with Dr Palken and the Staff at this clinic.

Dr.Palken is a smart man, but if he decides you are making up symptoms he becomes a bit arrogant and dismissive. I became increasingly uncomfortable being told it was in my head and dreaded going there because he did not believe me. In the end, I had to find another doctor to help me with my issues, which indeed did turn out to be real.

Thinks he knows more than the specialist who saved my life. But what do I know it’s all in my head.

Standing in for my primary care doc at the practice, he decided I was faking an injury before we ever met. Opened with, “What are you doing to prevent getting pregnant?” even tho the visit had nothing to do with reproductive health. You get skepticism with chronic pain sometimes, but he really went above and beyond in his attack on my person. Palken was arrogant, sexist, and homophobic. He set back my relationship with my primary care doc, and years later I’m still traumatized about seeking treatment and reporting symptoms. If you are a woman or lgbtq please please be safe and find a better doctor, someone who won’t be openly hostile and offer you nothing but diagnostic overshadowing. PS the wait was over an hour

He is wonderful. I have not always followed his suggestions and have paid the price for it. Now I take his word and do the right thing.....I had another Dr. who retired and I am very thankful he did. He diagnosed me with one condition and when I went to see Dr. Palken he knew right away that it was incorrect. If I stayed with the other Dr. I would still be sick. I am very thankful for Dr. Palken. He is very caring and ALWAYS listens to what I have to say. I have many complex issues which he is always up to date with. He has recommended me to several specialist which I appreciate. My whole family goes to him and we all feel the same way. One day I saw another dr. and he told me he wish he knew as much as Dr. Palken! I can't say enough about him. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful dr.

Very unprofessional, rude, inconsiderate! Treated me with the utmost disrespect. Proceeded to lie to me on more than one occasion. I do not recommend him at all.

I have had Dr. Palken for over 20 yrs. Yes, sometimes you do wait for a time for him to get to you, but I look at it from the point that he is spending time with patient, and I will be extended the same courtesy. I have NEVER had him be dismissive! If he suggest and you chose not to follow through, and then return for the same problem...obviously you must not be too concerned and are wasting his time as well as your own. He has always been open to any question, or suggestion I have had. In my opinion he is excellent, and if he changed practices, I would follow.
