Parfitt is NOT a nice man.

Looks like they delete reviews. Goes with the rest of the territory. Not a good thing to do. Goes hand and hand with the work he does.

Dr. Parfitt disfigured my face and neck causing permanent damage. He did not measure, mark, or go over aesthetic details of my surgery with me prior to rendering me unconscious. If I would have known he was going to do that, I would have run out the door. Consequently, he botched my surgery, and didn’t do the procedures we discussed in my consultation. I found out later that he does not write consultation notes, only fee quotes. So those two-word descriptions of the surgical sites was all of the information he had before cutting into my face. He had no clue what he was doing, and consequently, did not do the procedures we discussed, and botched the ones he did do. Once bandages came off, and I healed enough to see what damage was done, I brought up the unevenness in my neck and large gouge taken out of the center of it. I also brought up other concerns, and the fact that he didn’t do the surgical procedures we discussed. His response was to lie to me, and make up false excuses. So at… my last visit, I again brought up my disfigurement and that my surgery was not done as discussed. He tried to lie to me again, and I stopped him. I had confirmed with another doctor that Dr. Parfitt was lying to me about a surgical site, and I told him so. This enraged him, and he became hostile. Dr. Parfitt disfigured me, and when I calmly brought up concerns, he flipped out, and became unhinged. He started yelling at me, insulted me, and laughed at my pain. It was absolutely horrifying the way he was acting. After I was finally able to get a word in edgewise, I told him how negligent he was. He asked me if I wanted money, I said “Yes, a full refund.” He said, “Fine, get the F—K” out!” He then said he wished he never met me as he left the room. I met his assistant in the waiting room, and she went over the refund policy with me, and said I would get a full refund by check in the mail within two weeks. He lied about that too, and never sent it. So I am left with uneven eyelids and uneven brows, a bump on my now crooked nose, a horrifically uneven, gouged out, lumpy neck, and nerve damage amongst other things. This is only the tip of the iceberg of how horrible my experience with Dr. Parfitt was, and only a brief summary of his professional negligence and misconduct.

Over the past 10 years, I've had four procedures aimed at reducing the signs of aging. I plan to have a 5th with Dr Parfitt. I am very pleased with my natural looking results. I know that all people are different, but I had much less bruising than I expected based on pictures I've seen of people who've had similar procedures & I've never needed to take more than regular Tylenol for the pain afterward. That tells me that he's doing many things right! I would also recommend staying over a night or two, depending on the type of surgery, so that staff can ice & clean your sutures until you're up for doing it yourself. I'm someone who gets very nauseated after anesthesia, so it was very helpful to have this assistance.

I am a 38 year old woman consulting with Dr. Parfitt for a second (different) surgery with him after experiencing the amazing results of my first. About 3 years ago, when I was 35, I went to Dr.Parfitt to have my upper eyes fixed - he also did some liposuction under my chin. I have had many people say “you’re too young for plastic surgery” when I tell them of my decision, but for me, my surgery choice was very personal as heavy upper lids was a genetic trait amongst my family and were something that had always bothered me. Dr. Parfitt was kind, professional, and most of all realistic in my expectations and what the outcome could produce. A truly AMAZING experience and I have never looked or felt better! I am 62 years old, and two years ago I had a FaceLift and Eye Surgery with Dr. Richard Parfitt. I had no idea the outcome would give me a new lease on life. No one believes me when I share my age because Dr. Parfitt took 10-15 years away from me. People are shocked when I tell them I have had cosmetic surgery, in fact, because of my surgery, 5 people I know have had a FaceLift with Dr. Parfitt. I'm thrilled with the results of my recent surgery but Dr Parfitt is such a perfectionist that he is going to do a touch-up under the chin without me… requesting it. If he's not happy, he will fix it. You'll also love his gentle bedside manner and attentiveness to detail.

I am 61 years old. Although I look "young" for my age, I'm 1/2 Asian, my eyes and neck were sagging pretty badly. Over 2 years I research the best plastic surgeon and chose Dr. Parfitt. He did a upper and lower eye lift, fact lift and neck lift. He and his staff were excellent; professional, compassionate and attentive. After 3 months, I am very pleased with the result. I look great, beautiful eyes and nice tight neck yet, very natural looking. I could not be more pleased.
