If a friend or relative was to ask me about what orthopedic doctor I would recommend, I would very quickly say Dr. Peairs. My experience from start to surgery has been nothing but positive. He has all options available and tries them all out first before jumping into the operating room as the last ditch effort only when necessary. He is the only medical person you see in his office from start to finish, which is a rare thing. He is never rushed or do you ever feel rushed. Everything is very thoroughly explained at every visit. His calm caring demeanor is the best! I know others haven't felt his office person isn't the warmest, but I haven't felt that way. I just know Dr. Peairs is great!

I barely had time to sit down till I was invited from the waiting room to an examination room by Dr. Peairs himself. That's how the personal care started and continued throughout the entire procedure. You'll never feel rushed or your concerns are not being addressed. My surgery started at 0800. I was back getting prepped by 0700 hours. Dr. Peairs showed up an hour before surgery to speak with me before we went back. He was pleasant, calm and again answered questions myself and my wife had. After surgery Dr. Peairs gave my wife a booklet with a description of the damage to my knee and what was done to correct it. The booklet also gave exercises for me to do. My wife was pleasantly surprised Dr. Peairs sat and talked to her for 10-15 minutes. Again, answering all her questions and explaining what to expect after surgery. I'm 50 years old, my recovery was so easy I had to remind myself I just had surgery. Forty-eight hours after surgery I was in physical therapy with less… than 2% loss of motion! There was almost no swelling to speak of. Even my physical therapist couldn't believe it. The hardest part of recovery was pacing myself and not doing too much. The BEST bed side manner I've ever experienced in my life! I really can't say enough good things about my experience! I don't normally take the time to write reviews. If you're reading this please do yourself a favor, call this doctor and make an appointment. You'll never regret it!!

Dr. Peairs is an excellent surgeon. He performed surgery on my son's left knee. Our trips were 430 miles round trip to see the doctor and believe me it was worth to travel that far to see him. Dr. Peairs is very caring and takes time to explain your options in detail. He really cares for the patient's recovery. As a parent i felt very comfortable and relieve to find such a good surgeon. Cathy is an excellent receptionist, she is always on top of things and very courteous. Thank you Dr. Peairs and Cathy.

i was referred the dr. peairs by my chiropractor back on 08. when i see him i always feel comfortable. he is kind, thorough, and speaks to me on my level of knowledge of how the body works. he has performed arthroscopic surgery on both knees and they are are fine. i would, and have recommended him to family and friends

Dr Peairs has repaired my knee and my shoulder and has done an excellent job. He always makes sure you understand what is going on and what the expected outcome is. He is very caring and will take as much time as needed to answer all of your questions.

Dr. Peairs is very thorough and professional. In my opinion, no one is better for this type of surgery.I would recommend him to perform any shoulder repairs. His assistant, Kathy, was also very helpful and knowledgeable.

Dr Peairs is by far the finest physician I have met. His honesty, knowledge and compassion are unmatched. His expertise and ability to adapt to individual patient needs is unique and highly successful. As a 65 years old patient, with a severe heart condition, this great doctor has managed to keep me off the operating table (for bad knees) while allowing me to lead a normal life. How he has done this over the past 12 years is a testament to his skill in the use of modern medicine. The man is simply the best. He takes the time to help each patient understand their condition and his remedies are spot on. I have recommended Dr. Peairs to a number of friends and they all feel the same way. You cannot find any better in the field of Arthroscopy.
