Dr. Richard Ian Rabinowitz, MD

The only reason he got 1 star is because there was not a zero rating. He is exactly that , "A Zero"!!

I saw Dr. Rabinowitz for an elevated PSA. He diagnosed me with prostate cancer. I had 2 office visits with him to review my diagnosis and discuss all the options. He also provided handouts that could help with my decision. I had a prostatectomy and I am now 1 year out from treatment. My PSA is 0. I have no incontinence and I have good erections. I'm so happy my doctor referred me to Dr. Rabinowitz.

I was told this Doctor would Take a Kidney stone out that could not be Blasted by the 800 Number they tell you to call to set appointments-after calling them I find out He Does not do Kidney stone removel where they put a stent in through your Back an break the Stone an take it out,you would think if they say surgery on the profile then it would mean they Remove stones,I guess the 800 number they Give dont know what these Doctors do at all,Cause they sure know this one Dont do surgery as they say an suppose to be top rated

I had a slightly elevated PSA (4.1) and he ordered an ultrasound which came back negative, so he ordered a prostate biopsy. After doing some research, I questioned whether the aggressive and expensive procedure was warranted.He became angry that I would suggest that his planned procedure might be premature and unneccesary. He then sent a registered letter to me and another to my primary care physician demanding I have the biopsy or be dropped as a patient. My subsequent PSA reading came back as 3.5, making his demanded treatment at least questionable, and likely unneccessary and self serving. I think he simply orders procedures that are profitable to him if there is any way to justify it.

Dr. Rabinowitz diagnosed me with Prostate Cancer. He spent extensive time with me discussing the diagnosis and my options. I underwent surgery (prostate was removed) and I have done great. No cancer, no urinary problems and no ED. I highly recommend him

Doctor is terrible this office and he does his procedures in office are not easy most other UT doctors perform same procedures in Hospital out-patient care center. They cancel you as a patience if you dont do what they want.
