Dr. Richard Reilly, DO

My 93 year old mother got very sick and the only physician available with Dr. Riley We are kept waiting in the exam room for at least a whole hour each time she had appointments with him. At first and during the appointment with Dr Riley, we were sympathetic to the passing of his parents the first time he mentioned it. This is traumatic for anyone. However, during both appointments he took more time to discuss their passing than dealing with my mom’s exam. She is the patient and we are the ones lending a supportive ear and offering a bit of our time to hear him out. My mom is 93 and can only take so much at once. She also prefers to keep physical contact to a minimum. Dr. Riley is the only doctor that I’ve seen who is constantly patting my mom’s knee or running his finger up and down her lap when explaining something to her. Even though she knows he doesn’t mean anything by it, it still makes her feel uncomfortable. More importantly, we are dissatisfied with his treatment. After… increasing the dose on her medication, she felt worse for several days until her scheduled appointment with the specialist he referred her to. The specialist said the dosage was too high and lowered it to an even lower dosage from the original milligrams. We do not wish to have further follow ups with Dr. Riley and will go back to mom’s previous physician.

He was ok the first visit but after the MRI he changed he didn’t even look at the MRI throughly missed two problems. As soon as he thinks you are non surgical he won’t explain anything and will rush out of the room. After telling me not to be a martyr and to take the shots that would have been offered by pain management after I told him why I didn’t want them. 10/10 wouldn’t waste another minute with him. Find someone else

I have been with Doctor Reilly for several years, he is compassionate, thorough, knowledgeable, and he feels like family! He is a Doctor that truely cares about his patients. He is the BEST!

Dr Reilly has been my doctor for several years. He has a great bedside manner. Provides complete information and takes the time to listen. Best doctor I have ever had.

Dr Reilley is no longer working at the clinic off of Cortaro Rd. Does anybody know here he went?

The best doctor my wife and I have ever had. His diagnosis and treatments are always spot on and you feel like you're just having a conversation with an old friend. I do not look forward to when he retires. Highly recommend Dr Reilly.

I highly recommend Dr. Reilly! He’s compassionate, he listens and he takes his time with you. He’s personable and I get birthday calls from him for almost 20 years now. I don’t know where I would be if it weren’t for this man. He’s helped me in many ways. My family and I Love This man!!! Thank you Dr. Reilly for all you do and for being so caring. I love you and your sense of humor.

Dr Riley cares about his patients. He takes the time to get to know them individually which nearly never happens anymore. He is kind, he is courteous and has a good sense of humor. I pray that he is around to be my doctor for the rest of my life! He definitely knows his stuff as a doctor. You couldn't ask for anyone better!

I highly recommend Dr. Reilly. He really seems to care about me. He spent more time with me in one visit, than previous doctors spent with me in ten visits. Good sense of humor. Two thumbs up !! ????
