Dr. Richard Restifo, MD

I recently had a tummy tuck surgery in July 2022 and unfortunately, I am not happy with my results. From the beginning of my recovery, I knew something was off. My stomach bulges out both in the upper and lower area, and I have excess skin. I was really looking forward to feeling comfortable in my clothes, but unfortunately, I feel even more uncomfortable now. It's very disappointing, especially considering the amount of money I spent on this procedure. It's been 7 months since my surgery and I'm still not happy with my results.

I would give zero stars if I could. I did a breast reduction/ lift with Doctor Restifo and I honestly could have gotten better results by someone doing the job blind folded. I sent the office inspiration pictures, which included some of Dr Restifos own photos from his website. I’ve now come to wonder are those photos really even his or are they edited? My areolas are BOTCHED completely uneven NOT round at all. Both areolas look horrible. In the inspo pics I even showed him how I wanted my nipples to look, I wake up and the nipples weren’t even worked on. He didn’t even bother to go near them. I woke up the same way I walked into his office. I don’t understand how someone can show you photos of what they’d like and you just completely ignore it? My breasts are also uneven on top of all of this. They were slightly uneven to begin with and he did not even bother trying to make them the same during reduction. Lastly, my breast’s aren’t even lifted. They have just been reduced in size.… There is barely any lift. I go to my 3 month post op and Dr Restifo tells me to wait until 6 months and we will “fix it” I return in 6 months and he tells me “there’s nothing we can really do” so I asked him “than why’d you tell me when I return in 6 months you will fix it???” He told me “you know what, yeah we’ll fix it actually but there will be scars” sounds very promising. He wanted to “fix” the problem in his office under local anesthesia when he could of did all of this during my surgery because that was the whole point of why I went to him. I went to get PLASTIC SURGERY to feel better about my self and my confidence. Instead I leave botched unhappy and with empty pockets. If I wanted to be unhappy I would have just never paid him or went to him to still be unhappy. His response to all of this was “well sometimes things don’t go the way they should” EXCUSE ME? Aren’t you a professional? This is the easiest plastic surgery you could get and I just don’t know what went wrong that he had me leave looking like this. If you admit things went wrong than you owe me my money back sir because I do not trust you getting near me ever again. Especially because you admit things went wrong and expect me to just live with it. Thank you so much for making me even more insecure than I was before surgery: now with ugly scars and botched breast’s. I understand not everyone’s perfect but don’t label yourself as a professional than because a professional would try to fix the issue the right way and wants the customer to be happy. Your prices aren’t cheap either- so your prices should match the delivered outcome, which they did not. If you’re young and want your breasts to come out nice, go somewhere else !!!!

De. Restifo was very quiet during our consultation but I chose him for his credentials and I was glad I did! My results are phenomenal and my breast augmentation exceeded all of my expectations.

I would never recommend this practice to anyone.

After going for several consults I chose Dr. Restifo as he was the only Dr. that gave me full confidence that he understood what I was looking for and could achieve a great result. I am 55 and waited a long time to get a implants and wanted to make sure I got what I was looking for. I was always very small, 32A or even AA and did not want to be big. I also do strenuous, gymnastics type workout and wanted to make sure that my training would not be negatively affected by my implants. Dr. Restifo recommended I get over the muscle implants so that I could achieve the results I wanted, still look natural and be able to train without animation or limitation. I had a great experience from my preop, to the surgery center, my anesthesia and absolutely no pain and extremely easy recovery. Dr. Restifo and his amazing staff was so patient with all my questions and concerns and guided me every step of the way. I was very nervous about the size as I did not want to be big but wanted to make sure it… was worth doing. He and his staff guided me to the perfect result. I am a perfect full 34B and am thrilled with how they look and feel and the size was perfect. They look natural and everyone has commented that they fit my frame perfectly. I cannot say enough amazing things about my entire experience. I wake up every day and am so happy. Just got the ok after 6 weeks to fully resume my training!.

After many years of contemplating the procedure and which surgeon would be best, I am beyond happy with the decisions I made to go ahead and get the surgery with Dr. Restifo. He is wonderful, and my results are beautiful. I would highly recommend Dr. Restifo to anyone seeking breast or body work.

Dr. Restifo greets you with a warm smile and although not as personable as I think a PS should be, it appears he makes the effort. The staff however, is quite cold and say as little as possible. They don't even appear to like their job. I actually dreaded interacting with them, they never smiled or just asked a simple , "how are you" as they directed you to the examining room. The whole experience was quite robotic. The results of my abdominoplastic were not the best I'be seen nor the worst but just average.

All staff was so accommodating, courteous, compassionate, judge-free and always pleasant! I would recommend anyone to this professional team!

I had a mommy make over that included breast augmentation, lift, and tummy tuck. It's only been 5 days and the results are already incredible. I can wait to see the final result. I am truly happy I chose Dr. Restifo and his team for my procedures. I highly recommend them!
