Dr. Santore’s surgical consultation clarified complex hip replacement surgery that put my mind at ease. I now have the confidence to make informed decisions about an important surgery to return my mobility and quality of life. Dr. Santore and his assistant Henry communicate well and went above and beyond what I expected. I can highly recommend him.

I have had 4 major surgeries on my hips and of all of my doctors, Dr. Santore is in a league of his own. He was the only one who was able to properly diagnose me and perform the specialized surgery I needed. Not only is he incredibly knowledgable, he is kind and thoughtful. He takes the time to listen and treats patients with a level of respect I have never had before. He told me that my pain was real, my condition was specialized and others did not understand it, and that my underlying structural issues had never been addressed. He also told me he could fix my problems. Not only is Dr Santore nothing short of the best doctor I've ever worked with, but his staff is expectational. His Clinical Administrator, Henry Tchaglassian, is thorough, intelligent, and completely committed to helping patients. He has answered hundreds of questions from me and has even emailed me in the middle of the night to help. Because of Henry and Dr Santore, I am learning to walk again without pain.

I had my consult yesterday. If you have not had a chance to meet Dr.Santore yet you truly are missing out on meeting a great man! I knew that he came highly recommended and I had a feeling that I would be in good hands. But honestly I did not expect to find a Dr that went over and beyond and TRULY cares for his patients the way Dr.Santore does! :) Ive struggled for at least 5 years with hip issues and this past year had been pure torture. I've seriously been to hxll and back with all the other "Drs" & tests. I seriously can't even tell you how many Drs I have seen. I also have several autoimmune dieseses so I do go to the doctors alot. I have NEVER ever met a Doctor like Dr. Santore. He is such a nice man,loving and cheery personality. EXTREMLY thorough and knowledgeable. He takes his time with his patients and doesn't rush thru things. He reassured me several times and discussed every detail with me. His Nurse/assistant Stephanie is also a sweetheart. I felt comfortable the whole… time and so greatful that I was able to get an appt with him. He is also the most humble man that you will ever meet! Provided excellent surgical correction to a defective hip joint. Would absolutely recommend this orthopedic doctor. Extremely knowledgeable and professional, Santore is the best at what he does. Took very good care throughout this ordeal.

Dr. Santore is a phenomenal surgeon. Prior to surgery, he answered all my questions and fully discussed my options to resolve my issues. My initial exam was the most thorough exam any doctor had provided to determine exactly what was wrong with my hip. After surgery, Dr. Santore visited me every day in the hospital and answered whatever questions I had. He made sure my pain was managed and that I was taken care of. I am very pleased with the level of care and expertise Dr. Santore provides.

I had a hip osteothomy with Done by Dr Sabtore. I am truly blessed to have found a surgeon of his knowledge!! He changed my life and even being such a big, usually painful and hard to accept surgery all I can say is that it really was a beautiful experience, filld with care and humanity, with knowledge and care and thoughtfulness and gentleness! This Dr. gave me my life back! I had dual knee replacement at Tri Citi Hosp. in Vista. I was in pain for 6 years until I found Dr. Santore and His new associate Dr Seacrest. Before them I had 6 Drs look at my r. knee and just shake their head at the terrible job that was done on me. All declined to take on the massive task of replacing the defective knee. Not Dr Santore, He healed me! I will be forever thankful to him! IF you can get him for your joint problems, be assured of a successful surgery. He practices at Sharp Hosp. in San Diego which is a 5 star establishment. Nothing but good to say about my experience! Who cares how long it takes to get an appt./wait time even bedside manor (even though his is excellent) I know what it is like to have a botched replacement. Like I said....he gave me my life back!

The woman in the office is very nice; however, the woman who answers the phone on the main office number is nasty and rude. She should be fired. If I didn't know how great the doctors were, I would never go back after speaking to the witch on the phone. Rude several times!

I was a patient of Dr. Santore's and I have nothing but admiration and respect for this doctor. As other commenters have stated, he is personable and professional. He answered all of my parents and my questions and concerns with the utmost care and consideration. He made sure I understood exactly what was going to happen and how the surgery would take place.With a knowledgeable doctor and staff - The surgery went great, and I felt good about it.I was up on a walker the day after the surgery, and was visited regularly by the staff at Sharp and by Dr. Santore. With as many patients as Dr. Santore see's, I felt that he still knew how to make sure I was treated like I was the only patient. My concerns were addressed as they came along, nothing was sugar coated or skirted.Coming back four months after surgery, Dr. Santore and his staff treated me as if I had been there the whole time. They knew my name, and my case, and were genuinely thrilled with the progress I made.I owe a lot to Dr.… Santore and his staff. I was 21 when I had my surgery and two years later I am just as satisfied with the results. I am walking without pain, and have a great prognosis for years to come.
