Dr. Richard Joseph Schneider, MD

Dr Schneider listens to your concerns and walks you through all testing that is relevant. She does not order excessive stuff and is thorough with her evaluations.

I highly recommend Dr. Schneider. He's both knowledgeable and honest. His communication skills are excellent, and you feel like you can really trust him.

Dr. Schneider was my primary care provider for almost 12 years. I saw Dr Schneider at least 3 dozen times over the years. He was never rude to me and I never felt rushed by him. I was very sad to see him leave Duke.

It was my first tine getting a physical with dr Schneider as my former doctor at duke left the practice. Dr Schneider was very thorough and answered all my questions. He did find a large nodule on my thyroid that others have missed. Ultrasound confirmed dr Schneider’s diagnosis Would recommend him

Extremely poor service and billed twice for the same items

Rushed my appointment, spent less than 5 minutes with me after having me wait over half an hour. Gave me a referral and never followed up or gave me any instructions on following through my with referral (he simply wrote "GET MRI" with no phone numbers, instructions, addresses, etc.). My problem was not resolved and my issues were not even fully addressed. He made me feel like I was inconveniencing him- even though I was there by appointment.

A very good doctor when the medical problem is definitive. But, when the symptoms of disease are more nebulous there seems to be a lack of imagination. However, this may be the case with most MDs as they are products of the pharmaceutical sponsored medical schools.

He spends almost no time with patient, rushes through chart, does as many tests as possible. Prescription for me was wrong. Tests were normal and emailed. Office got concerned that I didn't come back in to go over normal tests and have a wellness lecture.
