I was referred to him for a pre-op psych eval. Within 10 minutes he told me no although it was apparent he was going to say no from the beginning. During our very short appt, he let slip a medical diagnosis I never told him and also mentioned a place I've gone for mental health treatment since I was child. I'm sure because he's a doctor he thought I'm too stupid to catch his mistakes, and he had already attached a mental health stigma to me. Turns out he was illegally accessing my protected health records from a place I go to for psychiatric care. This is exactly why people with depression and other issues don't seek help. No matter what you accomplish in life you will be looked down on. This man affected my life and health very badly, and I encourage anyone with similar experience to request a copy of who has been in your medical records. I assume he does this to make money as he wanted me to agree to extended visits with him to get approved. I'll pass.
