Dr. Richard John Smayda SR., DO

My regular MD was ill. His staff said go to an urgent care to get my infected boil lanced. I called his AFC in Warrington and they told me they accepted my insurance. I was in and very quickly. This doctor would not touch my boil, but just wrote me a scrip and sent me on my way. I had to lance and dress the wound myself. A few weeks down the road, my insurance company sends me a letter telling he doesn't take my insurance. These people are dishonest as well a lousy doctor. BEWARE!

As a former athlete playing football at a Division 1 top ten school like The Ohio State University and another 6 years in professional football including an All-Pro selection on year, I can honesty say that Dr.Smayda is by far the best "non-orthopedic" doctor I have ever been associated with. he literally saved my life by diagnosing me correctly, effectively and aggressively meaning he was point blank in instructing me on what I needed to do. His diagnosis was based on using medication as an absolute "last" resort. I will never forget him!
