Dr. Richard Charles Strauss, MD

Saw him because he did my fusion surgery and I was having problems again. My primary ordered an mri and sent me to him because of the work he did on me. I felt humiliated, his MA even questioned why I was there because it wasn’t anything urgent. I was told I had no reason to be on his schedule that day, but I was there all ready so go with it. He then made me feel like I was drug seeking, and I take nothing stronger then a Motrin. I went for answers to my severe pain an inability to walk right and left humiliated and crying. He is not a nice man. He may be a good surgeon, he fixed me the first time, I am very active, I’m a softball umpire, and only wanted solutions. It’s terrible when your doing what your told to do and get made to feel even worse!!!

He is very detailed about what he does. May seem that he does not have a bedside manner however, at the end of the day He is highly knowledgeable in his field. and HE IS kind and understanding always focused on the specificneed and care of his patient.

He is absolutely the best!!! I am a physician myself and I like my doctors to be straight forward with me and discuss my options. Well, Dr. Strauss did that and more. He not only gave me the straight forward data I needed and went over my imaging studies but was kind enough to answer all the questions of my over protective and picky husband. He was wonderful, took his time with my surgery, gave me the smallest incision possible and best of all took away my pain completely. I would highly recommend Dr. Richard Strauss and I will go back to him if need be and bring my friends and family as well.

I have had 2 procedures on my spine with good results and he did great work.

He operated on my Dad's Subdural hematoma days ago. He educated the family before and after surgery. Dad is doing wonderfully and we would choose Dr. Strauss again.

Good morning!... Its been 2 weeks today since I had my Neck spinal fusion surgery and I can say that I'm finely turning the corner and starting to feel more like myself again I can say that this surgery was the right choice and never once did I regret getting it done!.. Thank you Dr. Struss of Vineland for taking good care of me!.. :)

My husband suffered terribly with back pain.Dr. Strauss gave us an accurate and honest evaluation..we chose him to do the surgery and we couldn't be more pleased with the results..it took six hours and it was worth it..he is an extremely skilled neurosurgeon.Dr. Strauss gave my husband his life back!

He has a very nasty attitude.

I went to Dr Strauss for a 2nd opinion & all he kept saying was what made you come all the way from the shore. Mind you the distance wasnt an issue for me. He then proceeded to persuade me to see a dr closer to me.
