Proper diagnosis, very short recovery time from surgery due to methods used, and completely successful use of my hands. Dr. Thomas uses methods to reduce recovery from months to days. What a find!

Dr. Thomas is fantastic. Spent time and really addressed my questions.

My son broke his little finger while playing football this last fall. He had the X-ray and was told the bone needed to be set. So, we went to Dr. Thomas and the Cadence Ambulatory Surgical Center. The staff was efficient. Dr. Thomas did a wonderful job putting in some not-so-pretty pins that reminded me of Frankenstein. The finger healed fine, and my son has now given up football for rock climbing. I had a positive experience overall, but I will say this. I would have asked someone beforehand how much all this would cost. I hadn't foreseen before signing the dotted line that the Cadence Ambulatory Surgical Center would send a bill into my insurance for nearly $9,500. That's right! It was nearly $10,000 smackaroobees for a half-hour use of their facilities. (I admit that Dr. Thomas' charges seemed more fair.) Anyway, the insurance company adjusted it and all, but, if I did it again, I'd ask for a quote before committing myself to six-plus months of payments for half an hour and little… finger. Ouch!

Seemed very knowledgable and confident in Pre-surgical discussions. But... After 6 wks. of PT. and I was still in a lot of pain on certain movements, He dismissed me from PT and said ,"do anything you want except waterskiing or rock climbing!" Poor answer to my continuing pain.And terrible dismissal at follow up visit! Act, at least like you care about post operative pain! ----"good luck and have a nice day!? Seemed like , I'm done with surgery, good luck with your pain in the future,See Ya.

The number one thing I look for in a doctor is that the Doctor cares about my health first and formost. I honestly don't think Dr. Thomas does that. I believe he thinks of your employer first. My case in point is with my diagnosis, he stated in other countries they don't even recognize that as a work related injury. The thing is I don't care about other countries. I care about my situation. Why would a doctor mention this. Because of that I would not recomend dr. Thomas even though he is a good surgeon.

He made a painful situation enjoyable, just the best.
