Dr. Martin Jacob Greenberg, MD

I was referred to him after I broke my wrist. The ONLY option he gave me was to put my wrist in a cast. AFTER my wrist was healed, the bone healed at an angle. He then said that was because I wouldn't let him set my wrist. I said that was never an option you gave me, the only option you gave me was a cast. He then offered to break the wrist and reset it. I said no, and went to get a second opinion.

This is not a mill. I spent an extended time with the doctor. Everything about my need for surgery on my wrist was explained. The good and the bad. The follow-up was thorough. At least if I had to have this problem, I would go to a clinic like this. My stress levels were very high and everyone in the office was very sympathetic and helpful.

Saw him for a shoulder problem. The staff were very helpful explaining my insurance coverage. The office is nice and friendly. Dr. G examined me and explained my problem. I had an injection and it made 80% of my pain go away. He gave me meds and some exrecises and I am back to normal. Didn't try to order all sorts of tests or run up a bill.

When I was following up with him after emergency surgery, he spent less time examining me than he did oggling my 22 year old neice that provided my transportation since I was advised not to drive, He didn't listen to my complaints and kept advising me to drive 2 hours back and forth into into the city to see his pet therapist. He was unsympathic and a poor diagnostician if your injury doesn't follow his predicted course

Able to see me within days, open and frank about what to expect from treatment, staff were extremely helpful (since my hands are the problem the staff helped fill out paperwork, offered assistance to get my coat off/on, etc) in being an extra set of hands, literally :) I really appreciate not having to wait like I have with so many other doctors.

I have gone to Dr. Greenberg for three separate issues, the most recent a very serious vehicle accident where a dude with the heroin needle still in his arm rammed into my vehicle hurting me and three others. At 3:30 on a Friday afternoon. I had a permanent foot injury not originally diagnosed by the ER and subsequent, ongoing for months intercostal nerve damage at all levels of my rib cage. Dr. Greenberg is the ultimate father/grandfather who chooses less invasive measures first, who supports nutrition and vitamins, and who listens no matter how long you want to talk. I don't mind waiting for him to be on time because I know he is giving that other patient the same time he is giving me. His detailed office report transcriptions, his willingness to show xrays and details of the injury, and his office staff are the best. I have the utmost faith in him and give him a 100% rating - from multiple experience. Will I go to him again? Definately. (But I don't want to have to!)

First, my expectations were to have my problem taken care of from a competent, skilled doctor. I have no interest in going to a doctor to make a friend. // His office staff was very friendly and competent. // Dr. M. Greenberg made a point of trying to explain the issue and what might need to be done. He never rushing the visit. // In the pre-op room when Dr. Greenberg came in .... I thought it was someone else. Ever see someone in their element! His professionalism, confidence, knowledge, skill, and comfortability was there. // He did a great job. I highly recommend him. // Check your expectations at the door and you will be happy with your health care.
