Do not recommend if you need regular appointments and ongoing help. I would tell him the problems I was having such as not being able to concentrate at work while going through a family crisis and he brushed it off and talked about things completely off topic. Getting through to his office and their lack of response was also troubling. Not to mention every office visit I had was always late to start by at least 30+ minutes. Not once was an appointment on time.

Always worth the wait to see him. Does a better job than other physicians to get to the bottom of the problem. Takes as much time as needed to assess the problems other doctors miss.Also, the hospital affiliations are incorrect. He works at Mesa Vista Hospital San Diego

Would refer my friends and family. Personable and caring, he spent plenty of time and was very methodical The medications prescribed were explained and directions written down to avoid errors. Highly experienced with learning problems, family issues, eating disorders, addictions, twelve step recovery, psychiatric support of the elderly and chronic pain. He has treated three generations of my family,i.e., he is our family psychiatrist!
