Have been seeing Dr. Wohns at NeoSpine in Puyallup for 21 yrs total I continue to return to their office when needed because the service from the entire staff is excellent.

I met with Dr Wohns today and I feel he really cared about helping me. I have met with many doctors over the last six years, usually to be pushed aside. But Dr Wohns ordered testing for me and listened to me. I look forward to seeing him again.

The clinical group that I dealt with - Dr Wohns and his PA Nate Boykin - were excellent. Absolutely no complaints. I would give 5 stars for Wohns/Boykin.

Dr Wohns is wonderful. He gave me a pro-C disc replacement. When I woke from my surgery, I had tears in my eyes because I knew instantly that the surgery worked. I did not have the constant electrical pain down my arms. I was sent home the same day to heal, gosh I felt fantastic. I am back doing simple things I couldn’t do before ie: holding a phone with my shoulder, able to put a towel on my head after washing my hair, brushing my hair without the pain and electrical sensation down my arms, vaccuming, daily house chores. Thank You to Dr. Wohns you’re the best...I’m glad I did my homework and found you!

I had a fantastic medical and surgical experience with Dr. Richard Wohns, the Neospine Clinic, and the Microsurgical Spine Center. My surgical result was even better than I hoped; the pain is gone! Every aspect of operations at the Neospine Clinic ran smoothly. Dr. Wohns spent far more time with me than I had expected during the clinic appointment. The exam was hands-on, consultation and explanation were thorough, and multiple options were discussed. I felt confident that Dr Wohns had the correct surgical plan. My surgery day at the Microsurgical Spine Center went smoothly and flawlessly. All phases seemed to move rapidly and efficiently, with no delays for the patient. I was prepped for surgery, and then…I woke up. I woke up with NO PAIN! Gone is the muscle tension, stiffness, and radiating arm pain. I am thrilled to be getting back to my active lifestyle. Never met a doctor with a law degree. Yes he operated on me. He needs his Law degree. There are two kinds of people in this world good or evil. You decide.

Had a fusion, with hardware, performed on cervical spine. Symptoms worsened, after surgery, but told I was fine. Finally, at my insistence, an MRI was performed. I was told that screw fell out and resting on a nerve which was causing my symptoms. A complete LIE! 2nd surgery performed to remove screw. Lost faith with Dr Wohns so I sought follow-up care with another neurosurgeon. I was told that the screw did not fall out - it was “misplaced and put through the lamina.” Later confirmed by an orthopedic surgeon and a radiologist. I suffered permanent damage to dominant arm. Never received as much as an apology. This doctor also boasts he is an attorney so never mind trying to sue.

Dr Wohns did my back surgery in 2005. I am very active and every day I thank God that he was recommended to me.
