Dr. Richard S Woodworth, MD

Dr Woodworth is a capable “production-line” hip surgeon. However, if you have post-op complications don’t count on him to provide the needed care. In my case, after many weeks of dealing with post-op infection and the incision not healing, he referred me to another surgical group without even notifying me personally. This was a very cold and impersonal response from a medical professional during a challenging time. Beware!

I am in need of 2 shoulder replacements. Dr Woodworth was recommended to me by my Physical Therapist and I was treated with kindness and respect on my first visit this week! The staff was also knowledgeable & respectful! I look forward to being his patient!

Dr Woodworth recently performed a right shoulder joint replacement for me. I think he's a good surgeon & a kind man but his staff is cold, without empathy & irresponsible!!! On two occasions I spent all day On the phone to obtain pain medication. I was Without pain medication on day 3 & 4 following my surgery because his staff is unable to follow directions to call in prescriptions correctly! My insurance company attempted to call them but calls were not returned & additional paperwork never completed. If not for my insurance company's help, I'd have gone Two Weekends without pain medication for this very painful surgery!! I hope to never deal with his unprofessional staff again!! Beware because these are the people you will have contact with, Not the Doctor!!

I have had one visit with Dr. Woodworth after seeing several other surgeons. He is the best! He will be doing my knee replacement in the coming weeks. He took his time and explained everything to me in detail. He is very understanding and compassionate. I highly recommend him to anyone!

Dr. Woodworth was my surgeon for rotator cuff surgery 3 years ago.... I listened to him RE: therapy etc and today I have full mobility of my arm! He is compassionate, friendly and treated me like family....

Dr. Woodworth is one of the most caring, compassionate, understanding, and professional doctors I have ever had to go to. When I say had to, I mean had to.... for knee pain. He quickly assesses the problem and advises you about your options. He is gentle and absolutely understands what his patients are experiencing. For a lot of doctors in town, when making an appointment you have to wait weeks or months to get in. I have NEVER had that experience in the years I've gone to him as his patient. When I do have pain, they get me in fast, which is very appreciated. Both the front desk and back office staff are wonderful. You can tell and feel everyone in the office cares about you. Thank you Dr. Woodworth for being the best.

I have never met a dr that has such a good side manyor and really care and take the time to explain in detail meanin in words we can understand rather like most dr they talk in dr language. He is the best I tell everyone e about him and If they ever need a dr in his field they should see dr woodworth. Thank you for being the dr you are

Dr. Woodworth did an emergency surgery as I had a broken hip from an accident. He not only has a resume of amazing surgeries (like doing a bionic arm), but did a perfect job on my specific surgery. He is well practiced in mannerisms with his patients. I couldn't have asked for a better outcome and followup. So thankful

I had not only a dislocated and fractured left shoulder, but I also had to have my right clavicle surgically repaired at the same time! St. Rose recommended me to Dr. Woodworth, and I have to say I'll never see another doctor again. Throughout my whole ordeal, he was the only doctor who every treated me like a person. He talked to me, not at me. He thoroughly explained everything, from what exactly the injury was to how he was surgically going to repair my clavicle. He followed up regularly and just overal was amazing. His staff is phenomenal as well! I also want to mention that he is incredibly good looking. Besides him being an incredible person, he's also incredibly good looking! Very rare. Lol.

Dr. W is great. The receptionist was a dog. She was more than rude. I would say a poor representative for an excellent doctor.
