Dr. Edgar is the best. I was suffering immeasurable pain in my back, weakness, numbing in my legs, hands and feet. I couldn’t walk, I was being stabbed at every angle. It felt like I was being burned alive and jackknifed and sawed in half every single moment of the day. My gastric system completely shut down. I literally felt like I was dying. I lost over 80 pounds due to my symptoms. A tumor was found inside my spinal cord and he took immediate action (even though it felt like years), he performed a laminectomy of my T10, 11 and 12, removed the tumor and I’ve been restored to full healing. It’s only been a month, but it’s night and day. Where other doctors laughed off my symptoms, he never once doubted me. He listened to every complaint and allowed me to just cry. He and Cutler (his P.A) have the patience of saints. Surgery was much more complicated due to the tumor itself and I woke up in the ICU. The compassion afterwards from this team was astounding. Dr. Edgar’s bedside manner had… me in more tears than hearing the results of the surgery he just performed. I can’t say enough positive things about him.

Dr. Edgar and his first assist Cutler are the best. I had PLIF L5-S1 5 weeks ago. I am mostly pain free and feeling great! The office staff is great! My interactions with Katie the surgery scheduler and Cindy the nurse have been top notch!!

Dr Edgar is very professional, no nonsense and explains everything so that you can understand it. His office staff is friendly & helpful. Katie, Cindy, Rachel, Jennifer and all of the nurses are friendly & helpful. I recommend them all of the time!

I am so happy that I opted for this surgery. I had suffered for years with back pain, and had tried PT, and Spinal injections, but continued to experience pain. After couple meetings with Dr Edgar, I decided to go for the surgery. It was completely my choice. The pre and post-care I received was excellent. I reasearched and Dr Edgar came highly recommended by other medical personal not afiliated with him. I'm 67, and ready to take on the world! Muskegon is truly blessed to have this kind of a quality surgeon.

in the office was fine doctor was great but when I called Katie her on the phone she was rude and lied out write about what was said just to make it looks like your wrong and she write on what was said and slamed the phone on me ever time when the calls were done people shouldn't have to feel like crap when you need something done way to much attitude If it was my office I would fire Katie she is hurting your office and I not the only one theres over 100 dislike on Katie on face book and they say a doctor that's that good should not have a person like Katie working for dr edgar if you can avoid her at all cost due it your life would be better

Dr Edgar made a terrible emergency situation much easier through skills and bedside manner... I can't recommend him enough
