Dr. Rick Lynn Rawson, MD

Dr. Rawson put me at ease right away. I felt very comfortable as we reviewed the hernia causes and the surgery options.

Personable and was interested in my input.

I would not recommend this MD because once he performs his surgery, he doesn't care about the after effects following the surgery. No after care suggestions. Once the surgery is done--that's the end. No interest at all.

Both office staff and doctor seemed capable of dealing my particular issue.Dr is short on words, but got the job done. Staff were polite.

I had a umbelical hernia reapair a year ago with him. At that time he was very nice to me. After i had it done i come in a month later for a check up. I told him how it was hurting me and he said it was normal. Well i have been having pain for a year now. I went in complaining again of the pain and the office staff was rude to me. Then when i go in to see him. He asks what is wrong and asks me if it the same reason as last time. I said yes. He said fine lets see. I lifted my shirt to show him and he barely takes a look and tells me im fine. I told him i have a lot of pain and can't even lift up my kids. He basically made it seem as if i was lying. He kept cutting me off and would not let me talk at all. I was trying to talk to him how i was having a hard time to go poop. He opens the door and talks to me from the hallway about seeing a butt dr. I left crying.

Dismisses your concerns. After surgery I was having a hard time breathing I told him about it and he said it was due to the surgery pain. I said I thought it was my lungs. I couldn't take a deep breath. He dismissed it. My GP listened to my lungs and found I was congested. I was put on an inhaler. The breathing got better w/in a few days. Now I am still having trouble with my stomach pain. Again...no help. I would not go back to him.
