Dr. Wright treated me with respect and concern. He included me in understanding the assessment process and explained what I should look for during my recovery to measure progress and what symptoms would be concerning enough to merit a return visit

Dr Wright prescribed a therapy protocol that was very effective and one of the best the treating physical therapist has seen. This follow up visit was easy because Dr Wright's knowledge and treatment was so effective.

I wouldn’t recommend Dr. Wright to my worst enemy. Completely misdiagnosed my sons knee injury. Thankfully we went to someone else and he had a successful surgery and got back to playing multiple sports with no issues. Dr. wright was negative and made us feel like he’d never walk again let alone get back on any field or court ever again. Thank goodness for second opinions!

I played sports my entire life and have had 5 meniscus repairs between both knees all repaired by Dr. Wright. My recovery was fairly quick after each procedure. He made sure that I would be able to return at 100% to doing the thing that I loved. Every visit he listened to my concerns and helped me understand why and how my injuries were occurring. He was fun to talk to and was very confident when he spoke to me. Dr. Wright never steered me wrong and I am very glad to have had my surgeries done by him. I would recommend him to anyone. As far as regular appointment wait time goes, yeah the Chesterfield location is sometimes behind but who cares?! I never leave there feeling like I didn't get all the attention and care that I needed and that's what's important. Dr. Wright and all the other physicians at the WASHU clinic do very good work.

Dr. Wright was really rude. I Was at my appointment on time and they were hours behind. I should’ve resceduled. i have had several previous seguries on my knees and was going to him for a second opinion. However, he was in and out didn’t explain anything...it was a real waste of time for me since i drove hours to see him. I brought several previous records and he didn’t care to look at them. He did take X-rays and went off of what the X-rays showed. He didn’t bother to look at the mri or ct scan that was just done that showed issues with things that couldn’t be seen on X-ray. He gave me a diagnoses as knee pain which is completely different than other drs. His additude and rudeness was a huge turn off for me. I wouldn’t recommend him to anyone else EVER!

Dr wright has done a total knee replacement on my right knee and rotator cuff surgery on my left shoulder, both of my surgeries went well and rehab was perfect, i still have two more surgeries to be performed and both will be done by him, hip and the other knee. Far as i am concerned he's the best thing going, and the reason for saying this i have friends that have had the same surgeries, and both of them are having extreme difficulties after surgery.

Was 1.5 hours late for my appointment. Then spent 5 minutes (maybe) with me for meniscus tear. Wrote orders for PT (before surgical repair) that said "knee pain" - my therapist shook their head in frustration that the diagnosis wasn't included. I now need the surgery and wouldn't go back to this guy if he paid me!

Dr. Wright was so rude and pompous. He spent a whole 2 minutes with me after over an hour wait. His bedside behavior is horrible!!! Won't be back!! My problem is exactly the same as before I went to the 1 st visit!

I was well pleased with all aspects of my surgery. Dr. Wright was great. I had a meniscus repair in 2013. There were no problems with surgery or my recovery. It was well worth my trip to St. Louis. He explained everything in great detail so I was aware of exactly what to expect.
