Dr. Ricki Ellyn Mitchell, MD

When I first saw Dr. R. Mitchell Chronic Fatigue Syndrome was being called The Yuppie Flu. The Epstein Barr Virus had yet to be discovered. Candida was considered a female problem. I was fortunate in having both a progressive gynecologist and a Primary care physician who recognized both illnesses. Unfortunately they only knew conventional treatments. After about a year I was lucky to find Dr.Ricki Mitchell. After extensive testing my treatment plan included weekly IV's specific to my needs, Candida Extract and a change in diet. I was 88 pounds and finally someone told me what I could eat rather than what not to eat. This was life changing. As I began to show improvement and was becoming satisfied with my health I learned that Dr. Mitchell would not be until I was the healthiest I could be. Among other things this is what makes her a phenomenal doctor. She listens, explains in English and investigates all possibilities. In many ways getting as sick as I did was the… best thing to happen to me. I eat healthy, I'm compassionate towards people who have health problems and have learned valuable life lessons in how to adapt.
