Dr. Ricky Poole Lockett, DO

Read the Wall Street Journal article about this "pill mill" doc and the vast number of deaths he has contributed to. He can no longer write prescriptions for Medicare and Medicaid, and many pharmacies, including CVS, Walmart and Walgreens will not fill his scripts due to his track record of overprescribing. Stay away!

I know for a fact this doctor has many patients that Overdosed I have one friend who's Over Dose6 times from his Medications I have a friend that died from medication. He wrote because he wrote 32 mg of hydromorphone, which is meant for wave beyond cancer patients. If everybody knows 8 mg hydromorphones as a limit, hospitals only used 2 mg. He was writing a 120. Count of 32 mg and he also knew that he was injecting him so I claim him. His doctor death just like doctor falkman. And the doctor knows about the odes. Because they've talked to her about it. And when my friend died from the OJ. He blamed it on it, the man's fault when he didn't understand that equals 4 of his normal medications. You can one of those pills, and that's what killed them. Mixing it with benzos and other drugs that he prescribes is a pill mill.

Great doctor with a great team around him. Also, I don't think I've ever spent more than 1 hour at his office.

couldn't get script filoed, no response to repeated calls for 6 months, didn't call for phone appt and office woman said I needed to see him the next day in another city; no alternatives, not professional and no 69yo woman no pain help for 6 months. just asking for you to do your job. crabby nurses.

You will never find a better, more compassionate doctor than Dr Lockett. He is smart, experienced, LISTENS TO YOU, and best of all, CARES about your concerns. To those who complain about the wait, my answer is that he gives each patient all the time they need, so I’m happy to give others time, because I too get time for answers to all of my questions. This is definitely NOT a pill mill. If he suspects you are dishonest, he will cease prescribing for you. Thank God there are still doctors who help people like me in chronic pain! (Mine has been ongoing for 21 years due to a failed spine fusion.) The staff has always treated me kindly. They deal with many patients, and if you are kind to them, I find it’s returned to you. 5 stars in every way!

Called to see if i could make an appointment..and to see if they took my insurance..asked who referred me..i said a patient of there's..she said i needed a dr. Referral. I understand that. As i was telling her that i had an HMO and was about to give her the name so to make sure they accepted my insurance..she is yelling and i do mean yelling that i need a referral..i got that..just wanted to know if you took my insurance..she still yelling and slams down phone. I called her back and told her how rude she was. And a review of her actions would follow

DR. LOCKETT IS A VERY GOOD DOCTOR AND ALSO FUNNY

My husband and I both have unde Dr Lockett's care for over 15 years he has always been there for us never rushes you out of his office and takes the time to listen and treat your ailment. Unfortunately my husband passed away due to cancer over a year and a half ago but I continue to see him die to my severe pain which with his care is manageable. I love this Dr and would recommend him without any thought. Thank you Dr Lockett for being the caring professional pain management Dr anyone could ask for.

Dr Lockett CARES. He doesn't take the money, he reall cares. He kept me out of pain until back surgery last year. This is the MOST Compassionate Doctor I've EVER Met.

Dr Lockett is extremely knowledgeable, compassionat, helpful and up to date on current treatment. I have been seeing him for some time for Fibromyalgia, Osteo Arthritis thru out my body and complications arising from a back surgeon. He is probably one of the nicest and most "human" Dr I have ever seen. Tell him your problem and he will do everything possible to help you. Thank you Dr Lockett your the AWESOMEST!!!
