Dr. Ricky Lee Watson, MD

I started seeing Dr Watson in 1994. He has the best bedside manner of any Doctor I've ever seen. He makes sure you know he truly cares about you! Three months after having my first child I called his office crying bc I was having excruciating side pain that radiated to my back. I had been to the ER for this 3 times before this occurance. I talked to his nurse when I called and she said he advised me to go to the ER. I declined based on my previous experiences which I explained to her. Ten mins later Dr Watson called me and told me to go. I told him the same thing. He told me he was going to call me back in 30 mins and if I was still hurting and crying that he would call my sister in law (a nurse that he worked with at the hospital) and have her come get me if I didn't listen. Thirty mins later he called and I was still hurting & crying. I pleaded with him telling him that they always said I had heartburn and sent me home. He told me he was calling the ER to tell them I was coming and… what tests to run on me bc he thought he knew what was wrong. He thought I had gallstones. He also said he would have someone waiting for me at the ER to take me straight back. When I arrived at the hospital one of his nurses was waiting for me and she took me directly back. They ran the tests he had ordered and I had over 200 gallstones and had even passed 6 into my bile ducts. I was admitted into the hospital and had to have my gallbladder removed. They also had to go into my bile duct and remove the 6 stones that had passed into it. There have been many other occasions where Dr Watson has been a life saver to me. He's one in a million. When he left here and went to Greenville it broke my heart that he wasn't close, but atleast I was still able to remain a patient of his. I just had to start driving to Greenville, but it's worth every mile!

Dr Waston takes his time to explain thing to you. so you will understand whats going. my son & I have been one his patient for over 17years.I wouldnt trade him for nothing.He has been a life save to me.
