Dr. Riffat Nisar Qureshi, MD

Dr Qureshi is very helpful and attentive to my mental state. She listens to my concerns, and, as needed, we make adjustments. Also, whenever I show up early to an appointment, she sees me early. I drive all the way from Clermont just to see her. I've never had appointment issues, and her team have been willing to stay late if I ever run late. I'm very happy with her and the treatment I'm receiving.

My daughter was given an appointment time & date with Dr Qureshi, when she was released from the Florida Center for Behavioral Health, where she had received excellent care. Upon arriving at her appointment time & date, we were told she in fact did NOT have an appointment, the receptionist yelled at my daughter & I that he takes these appointments & the people never show up, so he doesn't put them down until the patient calls him themselves to say 'I'm coming'. I repeatedly asked if my daughter had an appointment at this time & day, he was angry & kept saying 'no, no, she can not be seen today', 'she does not have an appointment', etc. We left the office feeling very overwhelmed, as this has NEVER happened to us before (to leave a hospital with a set appointment & then to be told AT that appointment that you have no apt). It was a very odd, very confrontational experience. IF Dr Qureshi is a good psychiatrist we wouldn't know, because her office staff is not professional, not… courteous, & was very offensive to me & my daughter. Will never recommend Dr Qureshi or anyone in her office.

This doctor tried to keep me in a facility on the grounds that she thought I was manic, negating the fact I wasn't a harm to myself or anyone else. She also did not evaluate me by asking clinical questions; she merely asked demographic questions. There was a horrible language barrier and I could tell she didn't understand what I was telling her. She's just horrible. I would find someone else.

She is very nice and helpful doctor.I will recommend her to all needy peoples.Her office is not very busy like others doctors. She take few patient in a day and give them more time and attention that is the reason she is more focus to her patients.
