Dr. Rimi Grewal, MD

This is my very first time seeking psychiatric help and have talked to Dr. Grewal once a month for the past 4 months. I can not thank her enough for the huge help she has provided for my mental health stability. Right of the bat after talking to her about for 10 minutes about what was happening to me for the very first time, she diagnosed me and she was absolutely correct. Right away she prescribed the right meds for me. After talking to her for the 3rd time, I told her the med she had prescribed were helping but I still was not feeling like myself and she prescribed a second med. After 3 weeks of being on both meds I can say now that I am completely satisfied and grateful for her psychiatric knowledge and expertise. I struggled for the first 4 months but you have to remember antidepressants are not magical pills that will make you feel better from day to night, since it does take time for it to work along with a psychologist. I am happy and feel like life has given me a second… chance. I highly recommend her services to anyone. Thank Dr. Grewal!!

I had a lot of people tell me that most psychiatrist are straight to the point and don’t want to hear about what’s going on in your life but she asks and listens to ensure your care plan is the best for you. Very friendly and easy to talk to. Been with her for 7 years and have loved her as my doctor (also have made remarkable progress)

I have taken my daughter there for two years now and we have never been within even 45 minutes of our scheduled time. Very disrespectful of her patients’ time we will be looking for another doctor.

This is now around my 10th visit with Grewal and she hasn’t been even close to on time for a single one. She is normally 30 minutes late to every appointment and one time she was literally an hour late. I would give her a better review if she would spread out her appointments more because these waits are ridiculous. Don’t get me wrong though, she is amazing at what she does and has provided me with the right medication that I need to manage my anxiety and depression.

Dr. Grewal listens carefully and provides good feedback. However, she is chronically late. Nearly every appointment we wait more than an hour past our scheduled time. It's hard to keep work commitments when the doctor is not timely.

Rimi Grewal is absolutely horrible. All she did was increase and increase my son's medications when clearly it wasn't working right. Four other doctors said they would never put someone on the combination and the high dose she had my son on. Her carelessness almost cost him his life. I would not go to her.

I came to see Dr. Grewal about a year ago when I was in a really bad point in my life. I will admit, after our first appointment, I was a little unsure of whether or not I should go back to see her or not. But, returning to the following appointment, I feel, was the best decision I have ever made in taking care of my mental health. She put me on the right medications, and the right start to changing myself. She is a very good listener, and pretty friendly once you get to know her better. I understand everyone's experiences with mental health care providers is different, but I would definitely recommend her.
