Dr. Rishi Rai Bakshi, MD

This subject, Rishi Bakshi, is rude and very unprofessional, he thinks he is doing a favor to his patients. I was explaining to him the pain I was having, his response was “so what do you want me to do? with an annoyed tone of voice and even without making eye contact. I said you are the doctor, that’s why I’m here, and I got out of his office. Don’t waste you time and money.

Told me to take advil, when I had another doctor relieve my pain with some manipulation, unfortunately that guy was out of my network.

He's rude, unprofessional, does not care or listen to concerns, and loves to talk about his nurse girlfriend. He must be proud? Repulsive.

I saw Dr. Bakshi for leg weakness and hip pain...pretty classic signs of sciatica. He brushed off my specific issues, told me to take a particular drug "because everyone takes it" his mother and girlfriend included. Personally, I prefer to be treated as an individual and to have my symptoms respected. That is what I pay a doctor for. He was more concerned about going to a Star Trek exhibit that weekend (it was a Friday afternoon) than helping me. He also couldn't get past the fact that I had had a previous back issue ten years prior. I wanted to focus on my present problem and he just said I was out of luck. Really unprofessional all around.

I would absolutely recommend Dr. Bakshi. He is friendly and genuinely cares about his clients. I have a herniated disk and pinched sciatic nerve, and received an epidural injection from another doctor that was a very painful process and didn't help at all. Dr. Bakshi worked with my limited insurance, and was very mindful of cost as we pursued treatment options. I received an epidural injection from Dr. Bakshi and I didn't even know he had done it until I actually saw it on the x-ray! Within a week I had a very substantial reduction in pain. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Bakshi. He's helped to give me my life back!
