Dr. Rishi Billoo Bhatnagar, MD

This is the worst and most chaotic clinic I have ever visited. I waited for a long time but never got to see Dr. Bhatnagar; instead, another doctor examined my hand, administered cortisone injections into two of my fingers, and that was it. Two weeks later, I received a bill for $2,159. I was absolutely shocked! I had visited this clinic based on a recommendation from my family doctor, and during my initial appointment, they had collected all of my insurance information. Furthermore, the bill listed numerous procedures that were never actually performed on me. My distinct impression is that this clinic is simply out to fleece patients, with no regard for the significant financial burden this places on an immigrant family.

Dr B and the entire staff from the receptionist to the intake nurse Rae ( especially were friendly, polite, knowledgable and respectful. Thank you!

The service was great. The staff were very nice and polite and Dr B answered all the questions I asked him also I ended up getting house work done and i am very satisfied with the end result. I highly recommend the Laurel office

I am someone with an array of health issues. Literally if I were to list out my conditions it would over 25 primary issues with sub issues. My condition is severe. Recently I was in an accident and due to my injury it was appropriate that I see an Orthopedist, thus I went to Dr. Bhatnagar in Germantown, MD. There were literally around 40 people in the lobby, all waiting for one doctor. The staff were running around in a hectic manner with the receptionist juggling 10 different things at once. This was not a good sign. When I met with the doctor, he seemed nice enough, but the meeting was extremely quick, like 2 minutes. I explained that my primary care doctor is helping me with my chronic issues and that I would need a recommendation from him to let my doctor know that I would need more medication for this month due to my accident. He agreed. Let me repeat that, he agreed. 10 days later, the doctor's notes were still not finished and when I went to my primary care doctor, I… could not present a recommendation from the specialist, Dr. Bhatnagar. His office said they would try to hurry up finishing the notes. Three days later, it still was not finished. When I went to the office to personally see Dr. Bhatnagar, he refused to see me and did everything he could to try to SELL me on joining his Pain Management practice. He was trying to funnel me into his practice. I said I was very happy with my current doctor, BUT STILL, he was trying to get me to join his practice. Wow! After six attempts in one visit, I knew that he had an anterior motive behind why he was not recommending to my doctor that I would need more medication just for this one month only. He wanted me to join his practice right away! He knew due to my conditions, I would be a Gold Mine for him. He acted out of greed. He is a Business Man First, Doctor Second. Never go to this guy. He directly LIED to me and did not do what he SAID HE WOULD DO. After seeing my MRI, he knew I would be a cash cow for him and therefore he was trying to pull me away from my current doctor so that I could start seeing him for everything. Wow! What a great businessman. He should change the MD after his name to MBA.

Itâ??s a very busy practice where sometimes the same doctor has 50 patients for day, so that means very short time with you. All looks and sounds very suspicious, why? You have to pay all right then and there, even if your insurance covers that (Meaning no staff for billing) it really feels like a pill mill where the staff don't know whatâ??s going on but they want you money fast. They will tell you to have surgery at the Maple Lawn Surgical Center, where Dr. Bhatnagar is part owner and the same thing will happen again, GIVE ME YOUR MONEY!!! Unfortunately professional ethics are not practiced in either office. They will tell you: bring your ID and insurance card for you procedure and when you're there ask for over US$500 for the procedure, even thou they are in your network and have been previously approved for the procedure. Now for the follow up after surgery Dr. Bhatnagar will charge US$150, 00 just see if his work was done properly. So no, will not go back or suggest him as a… doctor to nobody so they can feel robbed of their wallet as I have, where it feels as a ghetto clinic that just wants money. Dr, Rishi Bhatnagar "could" be a good doctor but his lack of ethics for the process is unacceptable. By the way, once you fill up your information in their tablets for your consultation you will start receiving a lot of e-mails for all your illnesses, coincidence, I don't think so!

Dr.Bhatnagar is a decent doctor but his staff is absolutely terrible and come across racist.

This was one of the worst experiences with a Doc. The wait time was more than an hour. The doctor spend less than 3 minutes with me. Did not explain my condition at all. They had scheduled lot of patients at the same time. He was going from one room to next trying to see maximum number of people.

Every time I come to the office. If he is with another patient or another staff. I always get a warm hello and acknowledged by name. On the day I was scheduled for surgery there was a paper work issue with my insurance that cancelled my surgery. He took me to the cafeteria and bought me a hot breakfast remembering I hadn't eaten since yesterday. and apologized again for an error caused by my insurance

The service was great. the staff were very nice. and the docotor answered all the questions i had. i ended up getting alot of work done and i am very satisfied with the end result. i highly recommened this office.
