Dr. Rishi Gupta

I love the way he talks to my husband and I. Not like I am a patient, but like we are all friends. I was instantly comfortable with him. Good thing because I was trusting him with my brain, basically my life.

Dr.Gupta is the most amazing Dr around. He is so knowledgeable kind, passionate and dedicated to his work. He not only did one surgery but two on my husband. I truly believe he gave my husband a second chance at life. We were so fortunate to be under his care. I would recommend him a thousand times over!

I experienced a stroke and was admitted to Kennestone in the midnight time frame. At approx 3AM Dr. Gupta was called and he came to the hospital, diagnosed a blood clot and operated on me. He came to my room in the ICU at 6AM, talked to me and said I was making much more sense than prior to the operation. It's been slightly more than 3 months since the operation and there have been no more symptoms - he and his staff have been amazing.

This doctor and his staff are amazing. Dr. Gupta is knowledgeable and empathetic. His main nurse, Marissa, is also a very kind and intelligent woman. Every person from the one who answers the phone to the one who takes your vitals treated my grandmother with the best care, dignity, respect, and kindness. I believe that without the help of Dr. Gupta and Nurse Marissa, my grandmother could have been the victim of a stroke or possibly death. He found 3 aneurysms and approached each one differently based on their size and location. The last surgery had such a large aneurysm, that he called in the manufacturer of the stent to ensure it was cut to the appropriate size and installed correctly. He is a truly gifted neurosurgeon. We are very blessed to have him and his team working with my grandmother.
