Rita K Parikh MD Is compassionate , listens , pays attention to what you are saying. She is very thorough.

I have found Dr. Parikh to be very thorough, taking the time to really understand my concerns. She follows through with calls and emails. Never leaves me feeling I'm not cared for.

Dr. Parikh is, at once, professional, extremely knowledgeable and warmly friendly. I had to change to a new internist recently ( insurance issues) and have been so happy every time I've seen her. She seems to remember every thing I've told her in the past and always spends more than adequate time once she is in the exam room. Recently, she got on the phone to speak directly to me when it was a question I could have merely asked the nurse- that's never happened, (at least for me,) in a long time. Love her!!

Just had my first visit with Dr. Parikh. She listens, pays attention, doesn't rush you. Her demeanor is gentle, calming and caring. She knows her medicine.

If you need anything beyond a yearly physical exam, stay away from this woman! I went into her office with some very pronounced symptoms, and no idea what might've been wrong with me. She said it was from stress, and if I wanted someone to look further than stress I should just go to an ER. I did go to an ER and am now seeing a neurologist who was able to help me. "Dr. " Parikh showed no interest in my general healthcare needs and refused to offer any referrals because according to her my symptoms were just caused by stress. I'm filing an official complaint with the AMA and NYS medical board, detailing her unethical, IRRESPONSIBLE non-action.
