Dr. Ritu Dutta, MD

This review is on Dr. Dutta, I wouldn't recommend her based on my horrible experience. I suffer from migraines and my work gave me an accommodation form to be filled out. I asked Dr. Dutta if she could fill it out since she gave me the prescription. At first she did, but it turned out to be the wrong form that my work gave me to provide to her. I had apologized, and asked Dr. Dutta to rewrite it on the correct forms. She refused and told me to have it filled out by the Neurologist that she had referred me to. That was another disaster, neuro said no due to their 6 months policy of being under their care. It was a lot of back and fourth for almost a month and not being able to return to work put me in a financial hardship. I explained how important the forms were and all I was asking for was an accommodation to have a 30 min to an hour break for the medication she gave me to relieve my symptoms in a quiet space before returning to duties. Dr. Dutta stated she understood my situation and… wanted to help me, but doesn't want to jeopardize her license by filing out neuro stuff as a gyn office. However, it was for a prescription she wrote called Fioricet. Dr. Dutta did not understand my situation at all, which was rude for her to say! And as a professional license holder in the healthcare field myself, I can say that I understand her concern when it comes to holding a license. I am about patient advocacy; protecting pts, acting as their voice, providing high-quality care, building interpersonal relationships, and educating pts regarding their conditions and the care they are receiving. She failed to provide patient advocacy on a minor situation, which left me no choice but to find a new OB and Neuro. I can't trust her with delivering my baby or my health.

Dr. Dutta is a VERY GOOD md she answer all the questions to my concerns and is on top of every issue i had if i could give her a 10 star i would. Thank you so much Dr. Dutta!!!! -Arocha, Tina

Everyone was very nice from the time I walked in to the time I left. The staff had great customer service. The doctor was also great she explained things very well and was kind and caring.

She listens to your concerns and addresses them. Comes off very friendly and up front on what to expect in the upcoming months of my Pregnancy. I recommend her to anyone!

So happy I chose Dr. Dutta. She made me feel so at ease. She did not make me feel as though she had to rush off to another patient. And I was seen in a timely manner. She is my Dr. now!
