Dr. Ritvik Prakash Mehta, MD

The doctor was so sure of his diagnosis he never considered other options, even when the CT Scan showed definitively that his diagnosis was wrong. My medical history would have suggested another culprit to my hearing trouble, but he never asked. He recommended surgery based on the wrong diagnosis, which I agreed to, not knowing about the CT Scan, and then my hearing was worse afterward.

I have had nothing but poor service from the admin staff, they made errors on appointment dates, and had little experience dealing with my insurance. They could not explain what co-payments would be required. They just park me on hold and hope I go away! My surgical procedure failed to improve my hearing, in fact made it worse. Suggest you find another doctor.

Doesn't seem to concern about the patient problem and take it very lightly.

After I made an appointment with the Doctor Mathew Leach I told him exactly what I needed to do to my nose and after looking at my nose he said he would submit and then my insurance will decide if it’ll be covered or not and he told me since I have to remove the bump on my nose then Ritvik Mehta will have to do the surgery instead since he doesn’t remove the bump on my nose. So we end up making another appointment with dr Mehta at the same facility to check it out and see what needs to be done. After seeing dr Mehta we talked about it and he mentioned he would need to do four different things to my nose, remove the cartilage, make it straight, make room so I can breathe better and most important thing was to remove the bump. I specifically told him I didn’t want to change the shape of my nose (nostrils, tip of my nose and he told me no problem and he told me exactly that he would remove the bump but not enough where I’m going to have a scoop on my nose so I told him that’s exactly how… I wanted and told him I wanted it to look straight from the side profile. He told me he would cut it from the bottom lift the skin and shave the bump off. He told me he will take pictures of my nose and submit it to the insurance. I heard back from the office in about a week and told me that my insurance has approved the surgery and we end up setting up a surgery date. Long story short a week after the surgery when he removed the pad from my nose the bump was still there and he told me it would take some time before nose fully heals. After 4 months later which was my post up appointment I asked him my bump is still there which I had previously mentioned many times he’s like he didn’t remove the bump because my insurance wouldn’t cover that so please try not to go to him because he’s a complete liar and the whole surgery cost was almost 15k but I had to pay 1800 out of pocket. He denied everything and said he never said he was going to remove the bump. I will be taking this further with my insurance and will hopefully be seeing him in court as well. DO NOT TRUST HIM.

Great Surgeon! He removed my thyroid because I had a tumor and did a fantastic job. A very nice amd thorough doctor.

You don't get a second chance to make a first impression and that's exactly how it went down at his office.When I called for my first appointment I was given a date 19 days away, by the time I went to see the doctor the problem had fixed itself . The lady I saw before the doctor himself who did all the tests was wonderful and very helpful and then I had to wait 25 min to see mr Mehta and all he said to me was that everything was fine and if it happens again to give them a call and they will get me in right away to see what the problem is. Well I am having the same issue again but I still can not get an appointment right away as promised. And I don't wanna waste my time and money again for someone to tell me that I should come back when I am having the issue.Moral of the story " I am very disappointed in the service"
