Dr. Roane Ham Mclaughlin, MD

I can not say enough about this doctor and her staff. I have been a patient for a long time. She always makes me important and spends quality time with me and addresses all my concerns. Her nurse, Dawn, has been with her for over 14 years. She seems to keep things running effectively. I can almost always call her and speak with her and get an immediate response. If she feels like my concerns should be addressed right away, she tells me to come in then. The front office staff is also very friendly and has been there for years. It is very refreshing to know that the same people are there every time you come in. It makes you feel more relaxed and brings a personal aspect to your health care needs.

Obviously Dr. McLaughlin is a wonderful doctor so the wait to get in for a well woman check up was a couple of months. If you have an urgent problem they do get you in almost immediately, can't ask for better than that. The doctor is thorough, kind and compassionate. Her nurse Dawn however,at times, appears unhappy, hurried, and sometimes porttrays that to patients/families. Over all Dr is wonderful!

Roane took very good care of me during my first pregnancy. Whenever something was wrong or I got an infection, she diagnosed it right away and prescribed my medication as soon as she could. She was very nice and her staff was very polite and courteous. Her bedside manner was amazing, and she helped me get through labor without any pain medication whatsoever. She helped my mother deliver me and my siblings, and she helped me deliver my son. Now she's going to deliver my second child, as well! I'm looking forward to my next visit!
