Dr. Roanna Espino Alcera, MD

I was a patient of Dr Alcera a few years ago and her attention to detail is really impressive. She took more time with me than some other doctors.

Dr. Alcera is a Blessing to anyone she treats. There aren't many Dr's left that still give what Dr A gives. I hope she can open her own practice soon! Her staff is excellent also!

She moved her practice from Lumberton to Delran since my last visit so it took some effort to find her. When I showed up today for my appointment, her and her staff went out of their way to thank me and were surprised that I would drive a much further distance. I never heard that from a doctor before! For one of the best doctors who has ever cared for me...I would go anywhere to have her oversee my health.

I was devastated when Alcera told me she was leaving the practice (Family Physicians in Lumberton). She really listens and talks to you during your visit, and doesn't make you feel like "just another patient". She knows how to build a relationship & trust to help provide the best care. Once I was about 45 mins late, and she saw me rescheduling at the desk. She came over & asked where I was. Although it was completely my fault because I forgot, she told the secretary it was alright & she'll see me (she was just about to go to lunch). I don't expect every, or even any, doctor to do that.. but that just shows the kind of person she is. She's always placing her patient before herself because she truly does care

Dr. Alcera is a very caring Doctor. She spends the time explainging things and listens to her patients.I am thankful to have her as my PCM

I visit the Lumberton location.There have been some issues with getting a sick visit with the practice when I had Swine Flu, but regular scheduled exams have had fewer problems with availability.Dr Alcera's bedside manner is very good and she remembers her patients. She is very trustworthy. The office staff sometimes has issues with accuracy with records and making appointments, but that happens at most dr's offices. Some of the lab staff is questionable in their practices. Dr. Alcera is great, but the rest of the office could use some work.
