Summary
After completing my training in Southern California, I continued as a faculty member at a teaching hospital in Los Angeles. I enjoyed working with medical students, residents and fellows. My responsibilities included running an attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) clinic, a telepsychiatry clinic in Central and Northern California for people with developmental delays, an early childhood clinic, consultation work with pediatric inpatients, and residential treatment for adolescents with substance abuse problems. In addition, I devoted two half-days to work at a community mental health clinic in south Los Angeles, and spent the remainder of my time in private practice.
