Dr. Robert Ancira, MD

Dr. Ancira was to me overall very good, seemed to be a good listener and seems to be very professional. I felt extremely comfortable, but as I’ve read most of his other patients reviews his assistant was rude which I don’t really care abt I’m not there for her nor do I care abt her judgment bc when I walked into her office it was soooo disorganized and messy so who is she to judge anyone but anyways the thing I dislike the most is calling her bc well she never answers the phone it’s always that I have to leave a voicemail and it’s literally days until she returns my call. I just can’t wrap my head around what her job actually is if she’s doing absolutely NOTHING! She’s rude, talks abt the patients, disorganized, stained carpet, and never answers the phone and when I’m assuming she gets upset that I keep calling she must take the phone offline. Just despicable!

office staff is horrible, they need to take customer service classes. Sad these grown women are so rude, in such a sensative specility.

He’s an amazing doctor and I couldn’t see myself finding another as great as he is.

I needed a real shrink but after he ignored me and all my helped I begged for he just kicked me out our 5 minute session on to the next ..

Dr. Ancira is fine I suppose but the office staff are terrible. They do everything on paper and calculators like its 1985 but that's a personal choice if they didn't forget to call or fax in my prescription refills every single time. They wont answer the phone for days at a time, I just get a busy signal. Then when they do they hang up on me for asking when my appointment is. How does anyone stay in business like this? I'm switching to Oschner system as soon as I can time it right with my prescriptions.

Great Doctor but his receptionist is very rude that I hate whenever I had to call his office, wish his staff was nice, horrible staff but great Doctor

I am not a dummy and well educated. I have been a patient of Dr. Ancira for a number of years and he is a very professional, kind hearted physician. I must say, this is my second bad experience with his staff. I don't know if it's his daughter working for him, but she has a real "funky" attitude. It's so bad until I hate to call his office. Before, I had to write a letter to Dr. Ancira because the staff was so unprofessional. I just called, thinking I had an apt for Aug. 3rd and was told abruptly, 'no" and hung up before I could explain that one of my other doctors stated it was important that I speak with him regarding a very important matter. I held for about 15 minutes when I realized she had hung up and took the phone off the hook so she wouldn't receive a call back. She needs some public relations training like yesterday. After all we as patients are paying our money, she is not giving up anything. If she dislikes her job, quit and stay at home. She should not be… allowed to work with patients because soon or later, it's not going to be nice. She needs to learn to respect Dr. Ancira's patients. I can't even leave a message. I hate when it's time for my appointment, because I love meeting with the doctor, but her attitude, "sucks".

Dr ancira is a nice guy but his staff is extremely rude, and from the experience I had with them I would never go back. I can't stand bullies and mean rude people. So I took my business elsewhere.

He's great! Makes you feel comfortable.
